The TD Summer Reading Club is a fun (and free!) program for kids held by participating Canadian public libraries.
And what a program it was! Canadian kids just like you submitted almost 3,000 story endings, over 16,000 book reviews and nearly 11,000 jokes! The 2017 program has ended, and although submissions are now closed, you can still have fun reading what other kids have sent in. You’ll only be able to log in to your notebook until October 31, so make sure you take one last look at all your reading and writing achievements before then! Way to go! See you again in 2018!
Reading fun for kids from Canada’s public libraries
Beautiful illustrations show that simple pleasures like fresh-baked
bannock and walking barefoot through grass can fill us with joy.
Submissions are now closed.
Please visit us again in 2018 for more summer reading fun!
This book is great for young kids. It’s short, sweet and an easy read. It even lets a little conversation start about what makes you happy at the end. I love the picture of the narwhal at the end too.
this book shows that you can find joy in an everyday routine. the illustrations are very sweet and when I read it I feel peaceful.
It is good for beginners
