The TD Summer Reading Club is a fun (and free!) program for kids held by participating Canadian public libraries.
And what a program it was! Canadian kids just like you submitted almost 3,000 story endings, over 16,000 book reviews and nearly 11,000 jokes! The 2017 program has ended, and although submissions are now closed, you can still have fun reading what other kids have sent in. You’ll only be able to log in to your notebook until October 31, so make sure you take one last look at all your reading and writing achievements before then! Way to go! See you again in 2018!
Reading fun for kids from Canada’s public libraries
AWESOME BOOK!It talks so much about feelings and friends so if you have not read this book i think you really can!!
I know I’m not wrong to say this is the best book I have ever read but it was heart breaking to know how much Auggie is bullied, dontcha think?💔📚💩
I think that August was brave. The movie is coming out soon. Yay!
good story but also sad because his face
it’s a really good book. I love the creativity of the characters. I learned that we should not judge people’s intelligence by their appearance
i really want to read it all my friends read it and they said it was good
Was a great book, it showed that looks don’t matter
GREAT BOOK! I read this book with my class. It was really sad that no one wanted to be friends with Auggie and the way people treated him but in the end it was happy that people started being his friend CAN’T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!
I loved it because of how she wrote everyone’s perspective.
This is a wonderful chapter book about staying true to yourself
Honestly, one of my favourite books I have ever read. It’s really inspiring to hear a story based on someone like Auggie. I love how this is based on a person who RJ Palacio actually met in real life. Very great book and I definitely recommend it.
Awesome book very nice but the kids are really mean :(
It was so good
I think it was a great book it was about a kid named august a kid with a unusual looking face many people make fun but that does not stop august from achieving his dreams.
It shows that you shouldn’t judge someone appearance just like judging the cover of a book
The book is such a nice story. Even though Julian was not exactly a nice person to August, he found other friends. Even with facial issues, August made it through the fifth grade. At the end, August Pullman won the best award the school had to give. I enjoyed this book alot.
I think it’s a book that gives you time to think.
I really like the ending
this book is very good it made me cry
