The TD Summer Reading Club is a fun (and free!) program for kids held by participating Canadian public libraries.
And what a program it was! Canadian kids just like you submitted almost 3,000 story endings, over 16,000 book reviews and nearly 11,000 jokes! The 2017 program has ended, and although submissions are now closed, you can still have fun reading what other kids have sent in. You’ll only be able to log in to your notebook until October 31, so make sure you take one last look at all your reading and writing achievements before then! Way to go! See you again in 2018!
Reading fun for kids from Canada’s public libraries
This book is very well written and teaches a good lesson about peace and forgiveness. The book might appeal to an older audience because you need to be able to truly appreciate the meaning of the words and illustrations. I love when it is a pleasure to read certain books! This is definitely a ‘certain’ book.
this is the best i have ever heard
Excellent! This is a truly wonderful book and story to be told, heard and know. I do believe it might better be understood by older children, teens, and adults who can truly appreciate the message, its history, the text and illustrations. I encourage readers to read the entire book, especially the Historical Note and Author’s Note (It will clear up any lingering questions).
Do u think book is nice? Plz tell me 😊
It was very good, but I don’t understand why there are only five nations.
It was a beautiful powerfully message I’ll never forget.
WOW! i think that book made me go soft
Not really my taste
this book taught me about peace and forgiveness!!!
This book helped me understand the Haudenosaunee tribe and how it was formed, as I learned a time ago about the Six Nations. However, it was quite repetitive.
This book taught me alot about peace and forgiveness
i learned a lot about peace
I wanted to learn more about first nations history and I thought this book did a good job of teaching me. It showed nations joining together to heal someone who was very sick, and it took away their own pain and suffering.
Teaches you a lesson
This book taught me how to stay in peace with others
i like how hiawatha and peace makers come together and send the message to the original tale for the six nation
It is a peaceful book.
