The TD Summer Reading Club is a fun (and free!) program for kids held by participating Canadian public libraries.
And what a program it was! Canadian kids just like you submitted almost 3,000 story endings, over 16,000 book reviews and nearly 11,000 jokes! The 2017 program has ended, and although submissions are now closed, you can still have fun reading what other kids have sent in. You’ll only be able to log in to your notebook until October 31, so make sure you take one last look at all your reading and writing achievements before then! Way to go! See you again in 2018!
Reading fun for kids from Canada’s public libraries
Very good book!It was about a boy that wanted see his mother so to to break the world record so his mom would notice…
this book has bad words but maybe this book is for 10 to 18
The book was nice . Did include a few bad words . Would not recommend to young children. Its okay for ages 10-12 in my opinion.
Its goood, just like poutine should be!
Good book long intro
also a good book
So far i’ve read this book twice…
IT IS SO GOOD THAT I READ IT TWICE!
There are some bad words, but not too bad so I still love it. This book made me laugh, cry, aww and grin all in 2 hours. I couldn’t put it down. Oh soo sad… BUT AWESOME! I think Andrée Poulin should make a sequel where Thomas finds his mom.
best book ever
I really like this book but it is sad in the end
It is an awesome book I liked where the author started writing the book, but it turns into a sad story
The book made me want poutine.
It was a great book but there were a few words to ignore
This was my FAVOURITE Silver Birch book!!! Even though it had a few inappropriate words, and I’m NOT going to list them, it was a pretty good book! I still remember during that Silver Birch reading time, ALL the people( including me ) were trying to take that book, ‘cause all lot of people said it was a really good book!!! It also won the Silver Birch awards! Anyways, I LOVE this book, so do ALL of my friends!!
According to the Festival Of Trees 2017, The Biggest Poutine in the world is a Sliver Birch Express nominee and the winner of the Sliver Birch Express Award also! I recommend this book to anyone who loves fun, silliness and OF COURSE READ ABOUT THEIR FAVOURITE FOOD…POUTINE!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you guys have fun reading!!!

I think that this book is for children 9 years old and up. The mother gets drunk and ends up in prison. It was an interesting book that makes you think.
