The TD Summer Reading Club is a fun (and free!) program for kids held by participating Canadian public libraries.
And what a program it was! Canadian kids just like you submitted almost 3,000 story endings, over 16,000 book reviews and nearly 11,000 jokes! The 2017 program has ended, and although submissions are now closed, you can still have fun reading what other kids have sent in. You’ll only be able to log in to your notebook until October 31, so make sure you take one last look at all your reading and writing achievements before then! Way to go! See you again in 2018!
Reading fun for kids from Canada’s public libraries
This book was a little sad,it also had a bit of killing in it.It was about a gorilla that once lived in the woods. One day humans killed his family.Him and his sister were taken away in a box,his sister died in the box,but he was taken to a mall and finally a zoo.
SUCH A SAD BOOK!I feel really bad for the gorilla Ivan. I really want to go to the zoo that the author said and want to visit the gorilla
With the Newberry award winner Katherine Applegate, this book is a very touching book about Ivan; and how sad the life of these two elephants……. Please read this! It’s the most amazing book ever!

I asked my mom to read this book. She said it was really sad but I didn’t think it was to sad
This book is a sad story about the life of a gorilla with a happy ending. Ivan, the gorilla has a never-ending dream of being in the wild with his friends.
This book was awesome! I personally loved it so much and it was so sad that I started crying.
I like how Ivan (the gorilla) thinks like a person and talk with other animals but the humans don’t understand.
