NFB films corresponding to the TDSRC 2024 theme

The National Film Board (NFB) has compiled some short films inspired by this year’s TD Summer Reading Club theme.

Requesting the films

Simply request the compilation by writing to libraries@nfb.ca.

You will receive the link for the MP4 file for the compilation, as well for each separate film.

While we encourage the use of the MP4, you can also request a DVD or Blu-ray with the entire compilation.

A few simple steps

1)      Please specify the date, time and location of your screening(s) in your email to libraries@nfb.ca.

2)      The NFB will provide you with additional promotional materials, images and resources if these have been created for the film(s) chosen. This material can help you promote the film(s) and start a conversation after the screening if you wish.

3)      When you receive the films via WeTransfer, please download and test them to ensure compatibility with your equipment.

4)      To promote your event, please include the NFB logo, a link to nfb.ca or a description indicating that the compilation is a selection offered by the NFB.

5)      After each screening (or on a weekly or monthly basis), please send the total number of spectators to libraries@nfb.ca. This number may be approximate.

6)      Downloaded MP4 files must be deleted after the event. The NFB is committed to respecting copyright restrictions and, by extension, the work of the artists, technicians and professionals who participated in these productions. All DVDs and Blu-ray discs must be returned to the NFB by mail or destroyed if you are unable to return them.
