Treasure Hunters
On the weekends, Marisol and Keanu meet up to hang out. Keanu uses his wheelchair on the sidewalk, while Marisol rides her bike on the street.
On Saturday, Keanu rushed over to their meeting spot inside the park by the fountain. “Marisol! Look what I found in the attic!”
“What is it?” she asked excitedly.
Keanu showed her a crumpled piece of paper. It looked like a treasure map based on the drawing with an X-marked spot.
The local library, pharmacy and convenience store were drawn and marked, along with Keanu’s house and the park they were meeting at. Whatever was buried was in their neighbourhood.
“I think it belonged to my granny. Want to go check what’s buried there?”
“Sure!” Marisol replied.
“There are the three trees that are drawn here, with a bench beside the third one,” Keanu pointed out as he tapped on the map.
When they arrived there, Marisol looked around. “From here we have to go past the pond behind the library and beyond that area.” She motioned to where the librarian did outdoor storytime.
“Almost there! This is so exciting!” Marisol remarked after they passed the families heading to the library. “Where do we go next?”

They went past two rocks where the x was on the map. They did not find the treasure. It must have been buried under one of the rocks! So they got their shovels and started digging through the soil. Then they came across something hard - a chain! “The treasure!” exclaimed Marisol, “but what will it be?” They hauled up an old treasure chest. It had… a big chunk of gold! “What is this”? asked Keanu.“I think this is a box made out of gold” said Marisol.“Should we look what’s in there”? asked keanu.“sure”said Marisol. When they opened the box they saw very old stuff (pictures, Jewels,toys,clothes,personal collection,old change) “I think it’s a time capsule that grandma made”said Marisol.

they go to Overbrook and find an X in the middle of the swings they dig and dig and dig and find a CHEST they open the chest AND… FIND A… letter. the letter said “the real Treasure is having fun with all your friends

Pass three trees, Keanu said pointing to the map. After they passed the three trees they found a boat, “hmmmm,” said Marisol “the map says that there should be a boat, maybe this is the boat.” And they climbed into the boat. “AH HA!” exclaimed Marisol. “I see the x on the map, we’re going the right way!” And they saw the island. So they got their shovels and started digging. Then they found the treasure! “YAY!” cheered Keanu, “We got the treasure!” And so they went home with the treasure.

We should go to the dog park and find the dog statue which the collar has a diamond on it and it says tap on the diamond then stand back. they went over there and then taped on the diamond and stand back. All of a sudden a cat appeared. “What?” Keanu said in surprise.
“My wish came true! I never had a cat before! I had wished to have one!” Marisol said.

we go to the dog park and find the dog statue which has a diamond eye and when they arrived there and after hour of searching we found the dog statue which has a diamond eye and on the Dimond eye it said “remove the Dimond and click the button” they did as told and and found a jack pot of gold
said Marisol. “Um…” said Keanu “What?” said Marisol “This place, it’s on the map… I don’t recognize it,” said Keanu “Well,” said Marisol “it seems like it’s just by the library. Maybe we could ask the librarian about what that building might be?”. Keanu & Marisol walked to the library. “Hello, how may I help you?” asked the librarian “My name is James,” the librarian said. “Hi,” said Marisol “we were wanting to know what this location on this map is? We’d think you’d have a clue at least, because the building’s right next to you guys,”. Marisol pointed at the strange location on the map. “Hmmm…” said James “I don’t see anything there,” “WHAT!” Marisol & Keanu screamed. “Shh… it’s a library,” said James. Marisol & Keanu went out of the library. “Ow!” yelled Marisol. Marisol bonked into some kind of invisible wall. “Wait, there must be a door!” Keanu shouted. “Maybe you just have to knock?” said Marisol. Then, the door opened, & there was a huge treasure vault inside!
They found a treasure chest and they opened it out a frog jumped! then they saw gold, silver, bronze, and jewels and so they bought a mansion and lived happily ever after.
after they went to the library they went to the beach they looked at the map and they were right on the spot they dug till they found the treasure chest. there was ruby’s, gold’ big emerald . A crown 👑 .
so they went to the treasure place, which was x-marked on the map. they dug, finally they found a box.
an iron box, grey, rusty.
they looked at the box.they tried to open it;but it was locked. They said: let’s look for the key. They thought that it might be somewhere in granny’s garden. They went to granny’s house with the box. But granny is not home.
“The library.” Said Marisol.They went to the library and they found a old dusty mini house. They saw a box taped to the back. They opened it. They found a bunch of Gold and Diamond and Jade. They decided to share.
We should go to the seceret cave said Keanu.Ok said Marisol.Once we get there we will be so excited.
“To the library outdoor story area.” They found a book that was buried underground. They read the story and they found out that there was a ring in the middle of the book.
They have to go past the fence, but the fence was taller than they thought, so they need to go around the library. Behind the fence was a meadow. A very big one, and they went more than 2 km. They reach the end of the meadow and find their parents waiting there, because they had a copy of the map. However, the copy that Keanu’s parents had, said to wait for the kids at the end of the meadow. It also said to bring a luggage as if you were going to another country. Now that they were together, the map said to face West and go forward to find the train station. They got to the VIA Rail train station, and they just discovered that on the back of the map, there was some money. Just enough money to Buy 4 Tickets. They went all they way to Montreal, and then the map told them to go to 1208 René-Lévesque Blvd W. They realised it was a hotel. After checking in their room they saw note that said “No treasure here u can go home now” And they realized they were tricked.
