Fabled Creatures Zoo
“Well, that was fun!” my mom exclaimed on the drive home. “Who would have ever thought those creatures actually existed?!”
My mom and I had just visited the world’s first drive-through Fabled Creatures Zoo. It’s a safe haven for mythical creatures from across Canada. According to what I heard on the news, this place had existed for years, and they finally decided to open it to the public.
Tourists from around the world were booking flights to Canada to see the creatures.
“Which creature was your favourite?” my mom asked as we pulled into our driveway.
“I dunno,” I replied. “Probably the dragon or the unicorn.”
“I liked the yeti,” my mom responded with a smile. “He was cute.”
“Mommm …” I exclaimed, trying to hold back a laugh.
As our car pulled into our driveway, we heard a noise from the trunk.
Knock, knock, knock.
“What on earth was that?” I asked.
“Maybe one of the zoo creatures snuck into our trunk?” my mom responded.
We walked to the back of the car. My mom put her key in the lock, turned it, and slowly opened the trunk.

and a small creature pop out it was a dragon 🐲. It smelled cookies 🥠 from the house 🏡 it ran inside and ate them all what a glouton my mom said i just chrug and went to the creature i gave her marshmallows she rosted them and gobeled them all when she finish eating she fell asleep i took her and put her on the coach i lay a blanket on her . then i said mom can whe keep it no she answers maybe the the zoo is looking for her but when whe went to the fabled zoo the said she wasen’t from the zoo whe kept her and i called her Fable just like the zoo.
A little thing was in the trunk. It had covered itself with a sheet. I told Mom to go to the kitchen and load in the food. I took the thing to my brother, Connor. He reckons that it’s a Griffin, but those are nearly extinct. I travelled to Camelot, but lost my hopes. A few knights joked around the table. “ And then it yells to the ‘ole bar, and I killed it. ‘E says that I’m dead, but I killed ‘im.” This was a tall knight who had a very round head. “You were brave, Sir Galahad, but it’s not like strangling a dragon with a net, at the age of 15.” It was Sir Optimus. I crept to Merlin’s chamber and dropped the griffin onto a little couch. I left, but two knights blocked the door. One was Sir Optimus and the other was Sir Galahad. I snuck past them. Galahad saw me. A lot of horses were on me. I ran to the temporary portal, and saw a space small enough for an 11 year old. I fell into an attic.
It was a alicorn! So they call the fabled creture zo but the said they had no such animal so they let it fly into the wild
It was a fox with wings, we called the fabled creatures zoo but it was not from the zoo. We kept it as a pet and named it meadow, it was a great pet.
It was… A phoenix! Wow! It’s beautiful! We asked the zookeepers if it was one from the zoo, but they said they didn’t have any phoenixes because there’s only 1 in the world! We then kept them as a pet! At first, it didn’t like us. It would set everything on fire! It actually burnt down our house once… But eventually, we were friends. It even helped us make a fire to roast marshmallows when we were camping! It’s now our best friend!
As my mom slowly opened the Trunk, I quickly said “MOM, WHAT IF THERES A DRAGON IN THERE?” “N-ooo, Silly its nothing just stay back, okay?” turns out that it was my Sister, Ellies rock collection that was trembling down our car throught-out the entire car ride. but eventually we got all her rocks and put them back in her rock jar!
For a minute, time seemed to slow down. I heard a hissing sound from the back of the trunk. I peered into the musty darkness, and my mouth dropped open. A huge snake, about the size of a Great Dane, was coiled in front of me, hissing and spitting. My eyes followed the coils and spines on its back. The creature snapped its jaws, revealing gleaming white fangs. Before I could get a look at the serpent’s eyes, something seemed wrong. Suddenly, the snake turned and opened its jaws so wide I could look down its throat. My mother was horrified. She did not move and seemed hypnotized by the beast. I turned around and saw what the snake was hissing at: a sparrow frozen in mid-flight. it seemed to hover in the air, its eyes wide open and shining, as if something had terrified it. Suddenly, the snake lunged at it, snapped up the bird in its monstrous jaws, swallowed it whole in mid-air, and landed in front of me. Then I realized what happened. “BASILISK!” I screeched, scrambling into the car.
The unicorn 🦄 came because she liked how nice the 2 were. But they couldn’t keep the pet unicorn so instead they went back to the zoo to buy the dragon 🐉! They bought the dragon and gave back the unicorn 🦄. But the dragon was scared 😱 and blew fire 🔥 on the steering wheel 🛞 so how could they come home 🏡? They left the car 🚗 and went to live in the zoo! The yeti and the unicorn 🦄 came to live with them too. They started a gift shop and they mostly filled it with books 📕 the yeti and the unicorn 🦄 wrote about mystical animals. It was my little sister ,siting in the trunk eating candy! Little sis what are you doing in the trunk.my little sister said I heard you and mum taking about the zoo and I just had to come ,also your candy is gone. then my mum said that was smart sweetie but your grounded. aaaaawwwww said my little sis
A pale blue eye of a girl with brown hair looked at me in the eye. “Aahh!! I jumped back mom grabbed me. The girl first changed into an unicorn, than a lion, than a yeti, than a mermaid, and then back to herself. “What is that?” I peered at the girl and she transformed into a cat and slipped out of the car and ran away. In the distance, I saw it change into a horse and run really fast away down the road. “Well… that was interesting.” Mom said.
There was an adorable baby unicorn in the trunk! It had huge eyes and a messy mane. I turned to my mom and looked her in the eye. “Mom, can we keep her?” I begged. “No way!” my mom said. “we’ll just have to take her back to the zoo. But MOM,I said, we’ve GOT TO. Well, mom said, I guess we could. Thank you mom, I said, thanks a bunch! I’m going to call her Summer. So me and Summer rode all the way home.
The Yeti was in there! He hid and he was sneaking all the treats that we got at the zoo. He bumped and he banged and he grunted. He was trying to hug my mom! The End
When my mom opened the trunk, we found a monkey doing nothing but sitting there doing nothing. I said “ mom, can I keep it as a pet” I showed her with my big puppy dog eyes. She said “ I’m sorry but we can’t keep him forever, we need to take him back to the zoo where he belongs” she said in a stressed way. “I don’t he was in the zoo though” I said. “Then where did escape from” my mom said. “I think I saw him escape out of the cage when the people were supposed to take the monkeys away” I said remembering what I saw at the zoo. The next thing, my mom called the captor and said “ hi is this the person who captures animals?”. He replied “yes, that is me? how can I help you?” he said. She said “ We just found a monkey in the trunk and we don’t even know what to do with it” she said in a tired way. He said “On our way!”. When they came, my mom opened the trunk and he saw that this was the monkey that escaped from the zoo. So the pulled out a banana and followed him back to the trunk.
Our dog, Max, had snuck into the back of the car!
“Maxie,” I asked, “What are you doing here?”
Then, all the sudden, Max turned into a baby unicorn, then a dragon, and last of all a baby yeti. Mom looked at me in surprise. I did the same to her. We tried to grab the creature, but it turned into a phoenix. It soared high in the air and dove at us. Mom screamed and ran into the house.
“I calling the zoo.” she said and took out her phone.
The keepers arrived before mom had even dialed the numbers.
“Callie, come here.” one of the keepers took out a stuffy of a pig. The creature came right away.
“I’m so sorry. Callie is just a baby and she is wild.” the keeper said, then took a powder from her pocket at dumped it on the ground. She grabbed Callie and jumped in the powder. They had disappeared.
They found a cute little cat in the trunk. They both loved him. Son: mommm….. can we keep this cutie pie? Mom: no dear. I think he belongs to the zoo. Son: no mom. I didn’t saw him there. Mom: okay. let me call the zoo and confirm it. Mom called the zoo. They told her, they don’t reporting many cat missing. Boy was so happy to hear that. Son: mom..can I call him “mittu” Mom: ok fine. But promise me if his owner came ,we should return him back. son agreed. They became good friends after. The END.
Mom had to be correct. A little baby dragon sat in the trunk. It’s black scales and blue fangs scared me. It was a Scyldron, a type of dragon that had been hunted to extinction, a 100 years ago. It suddenly turned to the size of an adult dragon. I’d forgotten that this type of dragon could shrink. It could also teleport, and breathe fire. “ What should we name him?” Mom asked.” Maybe after your grandpa.” “ I will not name him James Port,” I said.” How about, Octavian The Trustworthy?” “Octavian it is,” Mom said.” Mr. Octopus, what would you like?” For the next year, I trained Octavian, and he let me ride on his back
My mom was right!A griffin snuck in looking for gold.He saw my mom’s necklace and leaped to get it she got out of the way and told me to call the zoo.I did and they said they would come to collect the griffin in 1 minute.My mom was screaming.Luckily they arrived just in time.The griffin was gone and we were safe.The griffin didn’t leave empty handed,he stole my mom’s phone!
There was a cute little yeti sitting in our car trunk. Mom and I were pretty surprised. “Awwwwwww” My mom said,”He’s so cute.” We took the creature back to the zookeeper. The zookeeper said,”Oh, my! There you are!”My mom Looked sad as she gave the keeper the yeti. The zookeeper must have seen the look on Mom’s face because she said,”You know what? I think you should keep the yeti.” Mom and I were super happy. We took the yeti home and named it Scarlet. We had lots of fun with Scarlet.
Suddenly, a green dragon burst out from the car’s trunk. They called the zoo, but it was not an animal of the zoo. So they took care of it and everyone lived happily ever after.
