Future Glasses
Meilin had everyday glasses, but she also owned a special pair of spectacles. She had found them at a clothing swap that her mom had taken her to at a community centre gym. Normally, Meilin disliked these events. While other people were trading clothing, she could never find anything she liked.
On this day, however, she saw a forest-green box with a few pairs of glasses in it. One particular pair stood out—the ones with the purple frames. She tried them on and was surprised that they fit so well. She looked around, noticing that the prescription seemed to match her eyes.
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed some movement and turned to see an old lady trip on another woman’s bags that were blocking the aisle. The older lady fell to the ground, grabbing her knee in pain. Meilin blinked and time seemed to go backwards. The older lady got up, the bags returned to their place in the aisle and then she walked backwards up the aisle. Once she got to the beginning of the aisle, time began at the regular pace. It was like someone had pressed the rewind button on a video!
Meilin could see that the older lady would trip again, so she swapped for the glasses and hurried over to where the accident had occurred earlier. She politely asked the other woman to move her bags out of the aisle. Once the older lady had walked by safely, Meilin breathed a sigh of relief.
By the end of the three-hour clothing swap, Meilin had also helped a little boy who had gotten lost, and prevented a basketball from the other side of the gym from hitting a clothing swapper.

Story Endings
saw that there would be a big fire in the school and the water sprinklers are dry and reported that to the principal and outside the school but nothing happened so the principal said that they make you think that it’s real but no it’s not so from now on she does not in them
Something strange happened! Once she got to class, she just stood there, saying nothing which she had never done. She completely forgot everyone, and she also didn’t remember anything. “Hi Mom.” She said to her teacher named Ms. Peggie. That was very odd. She did more weird stuff in class. When it was math class, she just stared in the classes and laughed at the pair of glasses Ms. Peggie was wearing and snatched it and wore it and she became normal. But then Ms. Peggie starting becoming weird and everyone grabbed their things and they never went to that school again, but they would home school. The End.
Once she did many things with her glasses, she told her teacher about it. The teacher got mad at Meilin for telling such a lie and Meilin got detention. The end.
she realized how much she could help people with her forest green glasses! In math class she saw her math teacher knock over her coffee cup and it shatter. After everything rewinds she raises her hand and suggests that her teacher move the cup from the corner of her desk so it wouldn’t fall off. At lunch she saw her best friend Tammy would spill her orange juice on her art project. Meilin was able to catch the juice before it ruined her friends hard work. Meilin was glad she she could help others and was so excited for her next clothing swap! She didn’t know what she might find next!
The same thing happened Again! At recess Meilin And her friends were playing hopscotch and one of her friends hopped on one tile with two feet and everything backwards again her friend hopped right until meilin got home told mother and said “these glasses are creepy! And mother said “Don’t Worry my dear sweetie I will change these glasses right away”. The next day after that the mother got her green glasses she on and the were regular the end!
She saw somebody’s phone in the 5 grade break when her glasses rewinded. She was able to catch it and save the phone
she was very happy to show her new glasses off and she got a lot of compliments from her friends Malory and Nora. This made her very glad, because they were the only friends she had well, other than Nicole and Anna. They were friends to but sometimes they were mean to my friends. When I came home mom got Chinese food, my favorite and after we went to Dairy Queen,for desert, and got me ice cream 🍦! I loved it, after that I went to bed 🛌 ❤️ While my mom reads my favorite books. entered her classroom. Boys were throwing spitballs across the room, and girls were gossiping about their weekends. A spitball soared towards her, but time shifted back, and she was able to avoid it. At lunch, she played baseball. Every time she struck out, time reversed until she hit the ball well. Just then, a baseball came flying out of nowhere and hit her in the face! Her glasses broke. This time, things were not reversed. She was stuck in regular time, until she gets her glasses fixed. The end.
She meet’s up with her friends and shows them her new glasses.4 HOURS LATER! It’s lunch time . While she eat’s they here the fire alarm. Some kids panic, some cry BUT Meilin’s new glasses kick in to save the day. She rewind’s time like if it was nothing. By rewinding time 2 minutes before the incident she shouts out at the chef that there’s some smoke. The chef is stuned and takes out the smoke. After that Meilin is known as a hero at her shcool. The end.
Made every thing look Digital she felt weird so she went home at home she Couldn’t take of her glasses so she went to bed the next day her glasses were shattered & she noticed a letter it said:bye I’m of to someone else. then she saw someone wearing the same glasses she took them off after that she never had those glasses again and. A monster was in them! She didn’t want anybody to know though. So she left it. The monster kept on tickling her while her presentation so she hit the glasses with her fist. Every one was looking and was so surprised. The monster had a big green cape, bright red hair in flames and a skeleton head. As soon as it came out of the glasses, he disappeared and teleported to another kids glasses. The end.
… everyone complimented her on her new, shiny, purple framed glasses! Little did they know about the power the glasses held! That day Meilin saved a little kid from being tossed off the swing, a teacher from sitting on a thumbtack, a beautiful strawberry plant from getting squashed, and of course, herself from detention. Meilin hated detention more than anyone. That was probably because the teacher that watched them got so mad at them that sometimes it looked like she was breathing fire when she yelled! Everybody suspected that she was a Fire Breathing Lizzard in disguise but everyone just called her Hotdog Roaster! That day when Meilin got home from school she saw her mom struggling a ton just to pick up broken glass, so, she rewinded time, and made sure to keep the glass vase from falling. Meilin wondered who else and what else she could help with these glasses! She may even be able to prevent worldwide viruses. But not right now. THE END
prevented so many accidents. she realized it was like a superpower. for the rest of the week, she kept saving people. the town loved her. Meilin wondered if the person she swapped with left it by accident. the next day she went to their house. the person said she deserved it, she should always use it to help others, not for selfish greed.
Then she saw 2 people about to bump into each other.She rushed to stop one of them.Then later she had library and saw someone needed reaching a book.She went over and asked if anyone needed help.Finally at gym a basketball was going to hit someone in the head.She didn’t know what to do so she just stayed near where the basketball would land.Though she got hit with it instead.At least she helped everyone.Then a few hours later she left happy but with ice.
Meilin’s bestest friend tripped and sprained her ankle. When Meilin saw rushed to her and carried her all the way the her house. When she reached her house her father was getting ready for work. Meilin ran to her father and her father saw her friend he said,“Get into the the car we’re going to the emergency hospital!” Meilin spent four day with her friend in the hospital. When Meilin’s friend got better she was grateful that she did anything Meilin said.
She found a boy, pushing a girl, very rudely. Using her magic spectacles, Meilin blinked and time went backwards. Using that, she said something to the boy to stop pushing the girl. And, she also wrote a note. After that, the time went normal, and the girl and the boy became friends again. After school, when she was going back home, Mellin saw an old grandpa, walking through the street. But, the grandpa was blind. So, he wasn’t able to see the traffic signs and lights. It was 4:00 pm, and there was extreme sunlight. A car was rushing through the road. But, while the car was about to stop, the grandpa walked across the street, thinking the traffic lights shone green. As the car was coming through, since the driver couldn’t see due to sunlight,he bumped into the grandpa. Meilin used her glasses to help the grandpa wait, and then cross the road safely. THE END!
…she saw the whole class without glasses! She was worried she might be made fun of so she quickly went to her seat and took them out and putted it in her backpack before anyone noticed. Then a new student came who she completely forgotten about also she was wearing glasses. Meilin was shocked though so she didn’t wanted her to feel bad about so she took out her glasses and wore then Meilin said “Hi welcome!” and she went to sit beside her. The end.
