It's Raining Popcorn!
“Popcorn!” baby Jaylen had shouted as she woke up on Wednesday morning.
And would you believe it? It did, in fact, rain popcorn for 5 minutes on Wednesday afternoon. As the kernels rained down, it seemed like everyone in the town was outside, trying to collect as much of the popcorn as possible.
This was the third day in a row that something like this happened. It was all quite unbelievable. Each morning, Jaylen woke in her crib and shouted a word.
“Pretzels!” the baby had shouted on Monday, and to everyone’s shock, it rained pretzels for 5 minutes on Monday afternoon.
“Chips!” she exclaimed on Tuesday, and chips fell from the sky on Tuesday afternoon.
After the third day, it seemed like every news outlet in the world was covering the story of baby Jaylen and the raining snacks.
But things took a dramatic turn on Thursday morning. Jaylen’s parents and sister stood around her crib as she tossed, turned, yawned, and then open her eyes.
Jaylen yelled….

“Cats and Dogs!” it actually rained cats and dogs! Some people kept them as a pet, some people moved towns because they were allergic!
she tried to yell but nothing came out of her mouth, she saw that her family were becoming food she was so scared she looked at her arms and they were CHICKEN!! she suddenly woke up, and… it was all a DREAM!!!
Jaylen yelled.. but nothing came out from her mouth, she kept on trying but nothing happened . The people expected something. After a while… all the house on Jaylen lane started turning into foods .Now they have more to eat!!! :)
“Poopy Diaper”! The eager townspeople standing outside with their plates and forks ready for their next free snack looked at each other with horror. Splat. An unlucky passerby got struck by a tumbling dirty diaper and it attached itself to the man’s hair. People began scrambling, carrying their plates over their heads to shield them from the putrid missiles that were raining down on them. Jaylen’s parents ran outside to see the damage. There were diapers all over the ground and roofs. But unlike every other time, the diapers were raining down for more than 5 minutes, it had been almost half an hour. People were hiding in their homes and others were trying to clean up their house. Baby Jaylen sat inside watching the destruction she caused. She chuckled and climbed out of her crib. Her chubby legs carried her out the door where her parents were. She raised her fat little arms in the air and shouted in a deep, grumbling voice, “No more DIAPERS!”. And the diapers stopped falling. “Lollipops!” She Shouted she ate a lot of lollipops and next, she was so happy to have a lot of fun days she skipped back home and had a happily ever after. The end
“Pizza and Cupcakes!”said baby jaylen,they all falling down on the sky. The zoo animals were catching pizza’s and cupcake’s. The people were all racing out to catch all the food,and then 1 mins past and all the food were all gone very fast.
Chocolate Bars!,and on every Thursday for five years, it rained chocolate bars.Thursday’s then became know as chocolate day.
“monkeys”! Thursday everyone in town was ready for there after noon snack when a hole bunch of monkeys fell from the sky, “run”!
It kept raining and raining and raining by Friday there was a town full of stuffed monkeys. So they got a lot of bulldozers and decided to make a store for all the monkeys the end
“Donuts!” and chocolate smartie donuts rained from the sky. Everyone picked up as many donuts as they could! And tried to eat them all at once!
Ice cream! Everyone was exited for the afternoon’s ice cream. So they waited until the afternoon hopefully wating for chocolate mint icecreams to rain or strawberry icecream! But no ice cream came only…dirt? Everyone rushed inside with no icecream in the hands. diasapointed people were the only things u could find at home. The sister was wondering where was the ice cream?
She heard some crying and wentt upstairs to find out that in baby jaylen’s room there were raining ice creams and a scared jaylen! Jaylen called the town to help catch the ice cream and everyone helped. It stopped and there were mint chcocolate ice cream in everybodys hands! THE END.
mickey mouse! everyone on the street was ready for popcorn or some other kind of snack food, but instead a million stuffed mickeys fell from the clouds and everyone was amazed! Then o Friday morning baby Jaylen yelled rainbows and millions of stuffed rainbows fell to the ground, so after almost a full week of this happening some neighbors came over to check out what was going on and guess what they found… A MILLION DRIED APRICOTS, all in bags ready for the morning. turns out that they all rehearsed what to do all they did was get daddy’s plane from the airport and fill it with whatever she yells only off course they all ready told her what to yell so there is your mystery of the raining popcorn.
WAAAAA!!! here parents and sister we’re confused, “waa?” said her sister,”what? that’s not even a food” then the baby tossed over and acted to be asleep. Jaylen’s parents and sister walked away quietly to keep the baby asleep. as soon as the door creaked close, the baby lifted it’s small head and said in a higher voice than a whisper “Juicy Burgers” but nothing happened. So she said it louder “JUICY burgers” again nothing happened. Finally she was tired of seeing nothing fall from the sky so she screamed “JUICY BURGERS!!!” her whole family heard her and came rushing into her room. The stood at the edge of her crib in misbelief there in her little fingers was a juicy burger.”hmm” said Jaylens sister as she took the burger out of the babys hands,”thats odd?”As she said that she heard a chewing sound by her ear, and thats when she woke up. “Jaylen?” she whispered “and went back to sleep.later everyone told each other about their crazy dreams and turns out the were all the same “hmm.”….
Popcorn!!!. But this time no popcorn rained. Everyone waited and waited but nothing happened. Next day she yelled candy, again nothing happened. Her parents were thinking why its not happening now. Then they found out that she had a bag of popcorn and candy next to her crib. She ate them all. Once it was finished then Next day when she got up she yelled popcorn and the popcorn rain started again.
Jaylen yelled.. but nothing came out from her mouth, she kept on trying but nothing happened . The people expected something. After a while… all the house on Jaylen lane started turning into foods .Now they have more to eat!!!
cakes! and It rained Cakes on Thursday morning. Then her mother saw what was going on so she shouted ice cream but it did not work! then they realized Jaylen had powers. so the next night she told Jaylen to say rain! so it rained normally for an hour! then when she said pizza one day it did not work. The end
Donuts,she said ,but this time nothing happened .Her family waited and waited ,nothing came.Her family went to bed sad.Next morning ,Her family was so surprised. It rain everything,popcorn,pretzels,chips and donuts .Everyone was so happy
CARS! At once,his parents went outside and told everyone what Jaylen had yelled.His parents were afraid of getting hurt by a falling car.They yelled about it to the news team who was outside of their house.Suddenly,they heard a thunk.a car had crashed down in the garden!everyone took shelter in their homes as there were thunks everywhere.the next morning,people went outside to find amazing high priced cars sitting on their lawn.They weren’t destroyed and they didn’t even have a scratch on them!Jaylens parents were quite happy,as they got 5 new cars and this morning Jaylen yelled stuffed animals.they started collecting huge stuffies and bringing them inside for Jaylen to play with.
this went on for about a year,until Jaylen learned how to talk and he didn’t shout things when he woke up.One day,he wanted to see if he could still do it.He woke up and yelled….
Ice cream! Thursday afternoon there was a storm … an ice cream storm! There was all the flavours anyone could imagine, waffle cones came crashing down on roofs, down chimneys, on cars and everywhere. All the kids ate there way out the door. Then they built grape-nut snowmen and moon mist snow angles.
Friday, Jaylen woke up and yelled hot dogs and that afternoon dad barbecued hot dog for he whole neighbourhood!
