a race! Bailey was fast. She was sure she would win, but when the race began, another dog zoomed past Bailey. She tried to catch up but that dog was too fast for her to beat. Maybe I’ll win the next competition thought Bailey. The next was best tricks “I’ll win this one for sure!” but when it started, all the other dogs did the same tricks as Bailey! The judges were looking at the dogs with unique tricks Bailey didn’t know. The last event was a beauty contest. Bailey gave off his best smile, sitting down wagging his tail, but the judges weren’t looking at him. Bailey had not won any gold medals, but it was still fun which Bailey realized was the most important thing.

The Long Fetch!!!! Bailey got third place. Bailey was sad, but his owner cheered him on. The second one was Handshake. Bella, a different dog, aced it .Bailey got second. He was still sad, but happier. Stay, was next. Henry, a different dog, was awesome!!!Bailey got second again. The hardest and last one was next. Bailey won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His owner was sooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The End.

an eating event!!!! Bailey got her chops ready, and mowed down her share of dog kibble. Winning 11th place, Bailey moved up to the second event. A 2 kilometre dash to determine endurance. Bailey was ready, especially after that tasty power meal. She ran the race and came in 24th place. Next was the swimming lap. Bailey had to swim 1/2 a kilometre!! She was tired, but she came through. In 6th place, Bailey moved on to the last event. Testing smarts!!! Bailey trained real hard for this one, so she was gonna win. There were only about 70 other dogs now, she had to be in the top 20 to win. Through hoops, and across planks, Bailey fought for the top… and lost. Coming in 71th place. Just kidding. Bailey came in 4th place, winning a medal!

“Time for the first event: Steal the Bone! Are you all ready dogs?” The human announced. Bark! Barked all the dogs. The human supposed it meant yes. So it started. Bailey felt hot all over his body when he ran and his cheeks were all red because he was soo nervous! When we tried to steal the bone, his hands even slipped and dropped the bone! That was very embarrassing for Bailey. But he calmed down and took a deep breath. Turns out, everyone was nervous because they were all huffing and puffing and some were even hiding! Bailey ran to the bone and brought it to the judge. “Congratulations to Bailey! Now moving on the the second event: fetch the Frisbee! Bailey didn’t do very well no the second one nor the 3rd but he tried and he was happy that he did!

Which dog could eat the fastest?

fetch a ball. Bailey waited patiently for the ball to be thrown, then…zoom! He picked up the ball and gave it to the chief. The chief said, “Well done, Bailey! You passed the first challenge.” The second challenge was hard tricks. First Bailey spun 3 times, then he had to do 3 jumps. Last of all, Bailey had to do all of them at the same time! He did it! fetch baily loved fetch and when the judge threw the stick he raced after it and won. the next event was swimming he won that to. then it was tricks and he also won that then he went home and had dinner and went to bed. the end

Runing he was nervous but he stepped Forward and he took a deep breath and Took of he passed one dog two dogs Before he new it he was in the lead! He passed the finish line and won! Next up was swimming he jumped into The water started swimming he swam And swam until…HE WON! He earned His second medal now he had two Medals last but least they had to Jump he took some steps back and Ran then jumped and boy did he jump! And he got his third medal.

A race! Baily didn’t like races. He won no metals. The next event was the dog to chase the most alive sticks. Baily avoids sticks for some reason. The third event was to the first to catch a squirrel. Baily does not like to chase squirrels. Baily complained to the guy who created the olympic that he didn’t like any of the events. But the guy says that it would not be fair. Baily got angry at the guy. So the guy said Baily won.

The first event is “Who can eat the most meaty bagels in 2 minutes”.

a kibble eating contest. Bailey was scared, but he could see his owners cheering for him. he took a deep breath, and ate all the kibble in one gulp! Bailey won one gold metal. the next contest was reading. the kibble gave Bailey some energy. with a step forward, Bailey read the book Bailey was supposed to read, and won another gold metal. the last contest was a race. Bailey barley crossed the finish line, but bailey had still won. Bailey’s owners cheered “hooray for Bailey!” Bailey had won, and winning felt good.

Who could do the best at the following tricks:

• sit -stay
• be an oichy (roll on the floor)

the doggy padle copetition! uh-oh! baily does NOT like water one bit. he tries to go home, but it is far away so he has to take a plane! he gives it a go, and now he realises that he DOES like water! he does the contest, and he wins first place! he says in his mind, “wow all the times i have missed bath time. better have one!”

…peeing on fire hydrants. The dog to pee on the most hydrants wins! The stinkier the pee, the better. Bailey won!

The next event was eating food off the floor. Bailey was really good at this and won again!

The final event was chasing the mailman. Bailey chased the poor mailman all the way to Ontario and so he won that event too.

Bailey was a champion dog!

Twister with friends. Bailey put one paw on red, one on blue, and two on yellow. She won! The second event was fetch. Bailey was good, but a little wiener dog named Fred was better. Bailey came in 2nd. For the third event, it was the doggy paddle. She paddled and used her mouth to drink and stay hydrated. Bailey was the champ! 2/3 was not bad.

The swimming race. The dog that singed Bailey in asked if she was ready? Bailey answered…. I was born ready! Bailey walked for a while and finally got to the race starting line. She was so excited!

the obstacle course. Bailey and the other dogs jumped over logs, swam across a lake and run through a patch of mud. Bailey was in front of all the other dogs, when he heard a quiet yapping behind him. He turned around and saw a Cockapoo struggling in the mud. Bailey ran over to the pup and pulled him out of the mud. “Bailey the Labrador Retriever has saved Murry the Cockapoo” said the announcer through his megaphone “ he wins the Dog Olympics by default”. Bailey was so happy that he had won, but he was even more glad that he had made a new friend. The End

the singing show. Bailey had to sing a song within 10 minutes. Bailey sang a dog song! Here it is:I’m a dog. I don’t howl! I bark. I am a dog. . Being a dog is great! The next dog event was the dancing show. Bailey was going to the doggy dancing class. So he could perform in the dance show very well. The last one was the exercising competition. Bailey had to exercise for 20 minutes. If he stopped exercising before the 20 minutes and everyone else, he would loose the game. All the contests were going very well. At last , Barky Bone the leader of the Dog Olympics announced the winners. Barky said that Bailey won all of the contests! Bailey was feeling really proud of himself.

cuteness and Bailey swept the board. The second event was doggy diving and the competition was all wet. The last but not least doggy gymnastics! Bailey won! He gets a big bone for the grand prize!

slobbering competition. That’s when you know how good dogs are at slobbering when they get excited. The slobber that came out of Bailey’s mouth was a large amount. It could fill 10 cups! The other dogs barely filled 6 or 7 cups full of slobber. This won Bailey her first Gold Medal!!
She got her 2nd medal in the fetching competition. Each dog had a human throw a bone for them. Bailey got the bone exactly 8 times faster than any other dog. No other dogs were faster although some were pretty close. This earned her another golden medal! She earned her 3rd gold medal by racing the other dogs in the competition. She won! She was the fastest dog there. To celebrate, Bailey got another medal and loads of confetti fell from above!!!
