The Third Period
The Foxes arrived for the 3-on-3 hockey game and looked onto the ice to scout their opponents. The Foxes were the defending champions. They had heard all the rumours about this year’s rough and tough challengers: The Ice Breakers.
“These guys do look tough”, said Little Fox, as he watched Polar Bear, Walrus, and Seal skate around with mean looks on their faces.
“We can take them,” said Middle Fox, and Big Fox nodded in agreement.
Puffin — the old referee — dropped the puck and the game was underway. Rather than going for the puck on the draw, Polar Bear body checked Big Fox to the ground. Polar Bear scooped up the puck, wound up, and took a slap shot that went over Little Fox’s shoulder and into the top corner of the net. 1-0 Ice Breakers.
Play continued with the players skating up and down the ice at a frenetic pace. When the puck went into a corner, Walrus checked Middle Fox into the boards. Walrus picked up the puck and took a wrist shot. It went straight through the legs of Little Fox in goal. 2-0 Ice Breakers.
The Foxes re-grouped and the game continued. The Foxes were having a difficult time scoring on Walrus, who was stopping all the pucks with his huge body. Near the end of the second period, Seal took the puck behind the net and surprised Little Fox with a skilful wraparound. 3-0 Ice Breakers.
Puffin blows the whistle to signify the end of the second period.
“These guys are way too big and strong,” says Middle Fox.
“Yea, and it’s impossible to score on Seal. He’s covering, like… 95% of the net!” said Big Fox.
“We can do this!” shouted Little Fox. “We’re only down 3-0.”
The Foxes huddled up and talked about what they would do.

Story Endings
The three foxes decided to believe in themselves. As Polar Bear started heading down the ice rink, little fox went slowly and quickly stole the puck and went under Polar Bear’s legs. Polar Bear still thought he had the puck and went all the way down to the net but scored nothing. Walrus also thought Polar Bear had the puck, so he went out of the net to see the shot more closely. That let Big fox to shoot hard. The Foxes had already started catching up. 3-1. With a few more tricks, the score was tied with 2 minutes left in the game. Seal had the puck and was fiercely hitting the puck. Big Fox tried to steal the puck, but Polar Bear came. That’s when Medium fox came and squeezed through the gap between Polar Bear and Seal. Medium Fox quickly went up to Walrus. Walrus blocked the net but Little fox dove right into the mini gap and into the net. Medium Fox hit the puck and Little fox caught it and threw it past the line. They won 4-3!
and the game is done. The foxes have won the game and they win a shiny-gold trophy.
The game started. Big fox was ducking down so then the polar bear wouldn’t see him. Medium fox was ducking down even more. Polar bear got the puck and was about to hit the puck straight into the net when big fox jumped up. The puck bounced off his belly and straight into the ice breakers net. Walrus was too slow to stop it. The next draw medium fox got it. He snuck up around the net. He went right in front of the net and SCORE! It was 3-2 ice breakers. This next draw was the foxes only chance to go to the tie breaker. The referee dropped the puck and then polar bear body checked big fox into the wall! Big fox was hurt. “That’s a penalty shot! Medium fox will take it because big fox is too hurt,”the referee said. Medium fox skated up and did a huge slap shot. But it went over the net. “No,” said medium fox. “I let you down”. “No you didn’t. We’re proud of you. We’re a team and friends. That’s all what matters,” said little fox. But the puck bounced off the walls and into the net. Tie!
Big fox and polar bear line up for the draw. As big fox looked up he saw polar bears big mean face. He took a huge gulp. Puffin lined up for a draw. As the puck dropped polar bear knocked big fox to the ground and went speeding at the little fox. He wound up for a big slapshot. It hit the post and went in. “Goal!!!!!” Polar bear yelled. “Call a time out!!!!” Little fox whimpered. Middle fox ran up to puffin. Back on the bench, “We have no chance” Middle fox fumed. “NO! WE CAN WIN! We have something that the Ice breakers don’t have. They may be mean and lean but we work as a team” Little fox encouraged. “3 2 1 Fox’s!” The middle bear screamed. With hard work, they got it to 5-4 for them! Remember there is no I and team.
The Little Fox shot the puck while Big Fox screened the goalie to make it 3-1. The icebreakers scored two quick goals to make it 5-1 with another screen in front of the net. The Little Fox got hurt but the rest of the foxes were able to withstand the pressure from the icebreakers. When the Little Fox came back, he scored 3 straight goals to make it 5-4. The Foxes were able to recruit 3 additional players for the rest of the game. The big elephant, giraffe and bunny. The Little Fox joined the Icebreakers. The big bunny scored on the seal to tie the game! The two teams exchanged goal than at the buzzer the big elephant with an assit from the bunny scored to win the game.
Drop! The the little fox got the puck and score! Little fox scored. Then Little fox got the fox scored, then he got a hat trick. Then Little fox’s team won in overtime! And Little fox was happy.
they played all day. the mach conted the nivt day. the tham won!! they had ice cream. they had fun. the end
He got kick out for eating the whole ice into water so he got a change of 1000th place
