Follow the Fox
I saw a lot of animals whenever I took the shortcut through the forest to get back to camp, so I wasn’t scared when I saw a fox one evening last summer. I had come across plenty of foxes in my life. But I knew something was different about this one right away.
The fox stood in front of me, a safe distance away, and met my eyes. We both stood still for what seemed like an eternity, staring at each other.
The fox turned and started to walk away. Suddenly, the fox stopped, turned its head, and looked back at me. I took a few steps forward and the fox starting walking again. Whenever I stopped walking, the fox stopped. Whenever I walked, the fox continued. For some reason, this fox wanted to be followed.
I continued to follow the fox as it began to walk quicker and then started into a trot. I started jogging to keep up. Suddenly, the fox stopped by a ditch and looked over at me.

The fox said hello. I liked the fox so I asked if he could be my pet. He said yes so he went to my house. When we got to my home the fox said “want to meet my mom?” So we went to a tunnel and at the bottom there was a giant fox. The giant fox was hungry and asked my new pet fox if ! was lunch. My new pet fox said no! Then my pet fox’s mom tried to catch me, but I escaped in the nick of time me and then me and my new pet went home!!! The end
I was still thinking about what he wanted when he turned around and suddenly as if he was lightning he bolted away. For a while I stood their thinking then I saw foot steps. I followed them and when I did, I found their standing tall in front of me a Cabin, I really wasn’t sure what to do but then suddenly I didn’t know where I was. About 10000 minutes later (it wasn’t really more like 5minutes later.) I could see light! And their the Fox. Then he smiled and talked as we bonded over some cold ice tea and some chilly air coming from the fan… suddenly out of the blue my mouth shot open ‘‘can we be friends’’ I asked ‘‘sure’’ said the fox and then we both ran outside till the sun went down and as always I’d yell ‘‘see ya next year!’’

Then suddenly he pushed me into the deep ditch. I am pretty sure I had broken a part of my leg bone, because I was crying a lot. Then I asked why he had done this with me then he said he wanted me to sing for him. I told him that he shouldn’t have pushed in this ditch and should just asked me to sing, because I told him that I can’t sing in pain. Then he asked me where I was in pain, and I told him that broke my leg bone. You see, this fox knew how to do magic and he also knew how to fix my leg bone! After fixed me and I got out of the ditch…I quickly pushed HIM into the ditch and ran. I just had to do it because I am just terrible at singing. There is a legend that says if a fox is not pleased with your he will eat you alive!
Then,the the fox followed me as I ran to the city full of trees because of it’s shining golden teeth.It attacked and killed everyone.It killed everyone because people r harming and not being thankful about earth.They r polluting,and wasting food.They r also hurting other animals and their own species. P.S. Humans need to be nicer and care about the earth.Everyone can improve.Don’t give up.Every little action matters.Try your best to make a great change.
I looked in the ditch, wondering what the fox had led me to. There was something that looked like a ball of moss to play with. The fox tried reaching for it, but couldn’t quite get the grip. I picked up the moss ball and gave it to the fox. The fox danced and jumped in celebration. He passed it to me and I passed it back. So, what seemed like hours, we played catch together. Every day I played with the fox. I named it George. George and I lived happily ever after!
“Come,kid. Get your hands dirty.” Was what the look on it’s face said. So I went in the ditch to see a UNICORN! “You like unicorns, right?” Said the unicorn. I was overwhelmed with fear.I screamed and ran as fast as my legs can take me.Luckily, my camp counselor, Chris, talked to me. I told him EVERYTHING. Chris told me it’s okay. I felt better. The End.
I went in the ditch and there were tons of baby foxes i decided to come everyday and take care of them so i did and they grew up well and soon i decided i would live in the wild with them. They became my fox pack. I made names for every single fox. The fox took care of me like i took care of them when they were little
suddenly the fox said come into my ditch and find out why i am so differrent . I was startled that it could talk. So i followed the fox into the ditch and there i saw was a magical place like the enchanted forest where animals could talk.. Animals could fly they could do anything they wanted and they had magical powers. The fox said this is not a dream for this is real. We have found out that you are the animal queen and brought you here so you can be our queen. I said of course and they gave me a special leaf necklace presenting the enchanted forest. soon i went home but came back every day to be their queen. one day there was a flood in our world and my family died all except for my older sister. So i went to the enchanted forest and asked if she could stay here. And we did. Up in heaven our family was watching us and they were happy soon our world became heaven and all the people on earth had to live in the enchanted forest. the fox was actually a human king. we visited our family.
The fox dove into the ditch. I followed inside to see 3 little pups nursing at another fox’s belly. The fox I followed went out of the den and came back a couple minutes later with 2 mice inbetween it’s jaws. Apparantly, the nursing fox was a Vixen(female) and the fox I followed was a Reynard(male). I decided to name the Reynard Bushtail and the Vixen Red. I also named the 3 pups Toad, Rocky, and Boulder. I scooched myself out of the gaping gap and made my way back to the campsite to tell my parents my discovery.
3 years after that, I came back to the very ditch and pulled my way inside. Red and Bushtail weren’t there though. Instead, Boulder, Toad, and Rocky were inside munching on a couple rats. Smiling, I scuttled out of the den leaving the foxes to feast on their prey. I went back to my camper and went to sleep.
i looked in the ditch and i saw bones!!!! i saw more and more bones leading somewhere so i fallowed it. it lead to a hole in a tree. i wasn’t sure weather i should go in but i did. i heard a weird noise, it was fox kits! i heard a loud grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! i graved the kits and ran. i made it to safety but the mom fox wasn’t there? so i put the kits in the den and the mom came back with food for the baby’s

It tried to bite me but I ran and ran and ran and it was still chasing me and then after it stopped chasing me but after all it was friendly and then I gave it a name and I named it Sally and then me and Sally Lived happily ever after the end.
The the fox said why are following me? I said i was curious about what you were doing. Then after a few years the fox and i became friends
In the ditch was a wounded baby fox. It was bleeding in the stomach. As soon as I saw the fox I called my dad and he came. We got the fox to a veterinarian and they helped him. Meanwhile the other fox, the one that had lead me there, was at the zoo being kept care of till the baby gets better. When the baby gets better, they would be relised back into the wild. The End !!!!!!
I looked in the ditch. A cute, newborn fox was inside. It was trapped inside and couldn’t get out! “Oh no!” I exclaimed. I looked around and saw a long, thick vine. I grabbed it and lowered it down the ditch. The baby fox grabbed it and somehow I fell down! Then the fox I followed was going inside through what seemed like a tunnel. As usual I followed and it was dark. When my eyes adjusted, I was in a cage. A huge light appeared above me and in a snap I was on four legs. I was fluffy… like a fox.
I peered down into the ditch. In the ditch lay a fox, a female, looking hurt, desperate. I carefully walked into the ditch. She must be his partner. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled the number of the vet with shaking fingers. Soon after, a van appeared and put the fox on a stretcher the male followed them and stayed stubborn when they shut the back doors. They waved at me and I smiled. As the van began to pull away, the male dashed after the van. The poor fox, his injured partner being taken away by another species. I know they’d be fine, but it’s sad to think that perhaps their life together has been destroyed. They may never see each other again. I’m glad I was able to help the fox. I wiped away fresh tears and headed back home.
I knew that meant that this was his home. Two seconds later I spot 3 baby foxes! Awww. Then the mommy fox comes i can tell she wants to protect her babies. Who wouldn’t? Then the fox nods his head towards another baby fox. But she doesn’t look well. She is missing some fur,there is a bite in one of her ears and she keeps making pouting noises. Oh no. Good thing my mom’s a vet and she staying her at the camp in healthcare. Maybe she can help. So I call my mom and explain what’s going on. She thinks the fox has been attacked by wolves. Then she comes over and gently places the baby in a blanket and wraps her up. Awesome! Little baby saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
