The Time Machine
I was over at my best friend’s house after school one Friday afternoon. We heard strange beeping sounds coming from the basement. We walked downstairs to investigate.
My friend and I saw a large machine in the middle of the basement, with lots of flashing lights and buttons. We ducked to enter the small door of the machine.
We saw one knob, angled to the left and pointing to the word TODAY. To the right of that setting were the words FIVE YEARS LATER.
Confused, I looked at my friend. She looked right back at me.
My friend reached for the knob and turned it to the right… FIVE YEARS LATER…
Story Endings
We stepped back, it was begining to flash rainbow cloluer beams. Then we were in darkness. Then the sky and the world appeard, annnnnd POLICE, LOTS OF THEM. we ran back to the time macheine. we appeard back in the present, ‘terrifiing’ I said
We looked around a little disturbed. We heard a whizzing sound, and I instinctively ducked, pulling my friend with me. I looked back to see what made such a racket and saw the future! Along with hoverboards, flying cars, futuristic buildings everywhere. I realized, making a quick calculation, that it must have been a hoverboard that nearly hit us. “Wow, this is amazing, but we’d better get back.” I said and turned to see where the, by now we had gathered that the machine was a time machine, time machine was, and there sitting right where we left it. We hurried into the machine, taking one last look at the beautiful world in front of us, and set the knob to FIVE YEARS EARLIER.
WE ENDED UP SOMEWHERE THAT LOOKED LIKE OUR PLACE. WE SAW 2 OTHER KIDS. HI I’M JOHN SAID ONE KID. I SAID WAIT MY NAME IS JOHN. THEN WE NOTICED OUR MOM WAS THERE. HI KIDS SAID MOM.THEN WE NOTICED THEY WERE US BUT YOUNGER THEN WE SET IT ON TODAY AND FELT CURIOS ABOUT THE TIME MACHINE
Then they saw they were standing on a rock and the rock is sinking into lava!!! They quickly turned the knob back to TODAY and went back home.
The End
We got out of the time machine and there was two time machines. We investigated more and there was a phone and a TV. It was weird. Then we went up we peeked and…saw no toys. instead there was TV’S and stuff. We saw two other kids. We went down we went in the time machine we went back in time. The end
We arrived in the future! It was strange to see all the new stores and games. At first I thought it was a prank I looked at my friend and I see she is just as confused. I turn to the knobs to see where the prank could be stopped. my friend reached for the knob that she had not turned yet. before we knew it, we were back in the basement and the machine had turned off. I got out deciding never to go back in.
When she hit the button we were in the future it was amazing. After we saw a toy store we wished we had braught our money. Suddenly I and my friend found money in our pockets and bought it.

next morning we go to the time machine “i guess this is it”I say “i hope we meet again” so we say good bye to them. now we have to control it “off we go” i say then my friend says”how can we go home?? do i have to push this button?? or this??” “really…ummm push what we push before i think it’s this one”I says. so we push the button then the machine start to shack then boom. when we open the door we are back!! “what a relief” so we go to home i think this is my best day in my life i wish i can go there again because the time machine wasn’t there when we arrive and open the door then it disappear so..that a wish

when we follow them there was a…..house??!! the big one what we saw before then future my best friend says”before you go how about live here for today?? it’s getting late” so guess what we accept it how can we ever sleep and playing!! that is so amazing but we know we have to live tomorrow anyway first we ate delicus chocolate ice cream my favorite and my friend too and we played tag. so it turn out to sleepover.
Suddenly, a red light started flashing. That wasn’t good. Smoke started rising. We ran out, and the Machine disappeared. There was a paper on the floor. It said “TEN YEARS INTO THE FUTURE”
We arrived and what we saw was unbelevable! We had Gone FIVE YEARS into the future! This was So COOL!!!!! I went and looked at a game store and i saw myself buying a present and my friend was there too! We had to leave right away! So i grabbed my friend and jumped into the time machine and i pulled the lever to “TODAY” and we were back home, THE END.

“let’s put this flying car back!!”i says so we put the flying car back where it come from. when we put this car, then the owner came closer to us. so we try to go out and we did but someone keep coming to us so y besti says “sorry”. then someone says “hi” we were surprised “my name is—– and my best friend—-“ she says then we both say”that’s my name!!”so that mean is same us the change thing is there are our future so we tell them i mean to us tell a whole story now we have to go home what do we do i thought then someone that future me says”follow us”

FIVE YEARS LATER… they were in CANDY LAND! They couldn’t believe how much candy were there. So they went to lot’s of places to just get tons of candy. So they went to Gummy Street, Chocolate Drive, and Juicy Avenue. After going to three places they so exhausted and full, because they ate too much candy and chocolate.

the flying car didn’t go right or left it was keep going to up!!!!!!! so i have no choice have to drive or something i grad the handle and push the bottom key and ‘bammmmm’ it’s lucky that we can control it oh, and the car inside was really really comfortable anyway we can see hospital so how about we go there so my friend says”why not?” so we go to hospital and when we arrive there was something really cool thing was there (i mean the poster) it says’when we eat this then it will transport to a tiny robot so they can fix anything in our body’ “wow” my besti says i wonder we can bring it but that impossible let’s just go so we back to the car then i say “wait!!i think i forgot something.?!” then my friend says”wait your right! we forgot give this flying car back!!!!!!!!!” oh no! i thought

then we transport to a future world!! my friends and i was so excited we yell and we jumped..and we start to look around. first what we can saw is the…..flying car!!! a..and the…the really big apartment and lot of people ‘wow’i thought when i keep looking at this crazy world my friend are already in flying car!! so just run to my besti and sit at fly car i was so excited “WHOOOO..o” i say because we don’t have a car key and we didn’t have our own flying car!! so we try to get out of this flying car fast but it’s already flying away “wait what!!???” my besti says “there is a key already someone forgot to bring it!!” so that why it start to move “oh no” we both shout”we both shout because it someone’s car that mean we actually steal it and we don’t know how to control it!!
The jumped up and down and spun around in circles. They looked in their pocket and found a tissue. Then they saw a little unicorn in the tissue!

Whoo! Tiring, isn’t it!? Lets rest and have a picnic with the bunnies and did you know that some of the bunnies are magical? Yes they are! so now lets have a picnic with all the bunnies- even the magical ones-

we are transported to a new place. instead of a basement, we are standing in a restaurant. We see a waitress, we ask her where we are. she says “you are in the de rein’s fabulous restaurant”. “hmmm…” I think “de rein that is my friend’s last name”. After thinking, I said, “can we meet Mrs. & Mr. de rein?”. The waitress smiled and pointed to a door. We open the door and behind the door was a hallway leading to a room. The carpet was shimmering gold and there were paintings of my friend? My friend’s face was upon every painting she looked a bit older. That’s when I realized what had happened.” Chelsea, we are 5 years forward in the future.” say what Stace!” we have got to go back. Though how?” I said “I know let’s turn the knob backward so it should technically take us back” We follow the plan. I hear wake up! I open my eyes. I am in my bed I look at shoes I had a bit of gold glitter on my shoes. I think this can’t be true. What a day!
There were lots of high tech stuff like well EVERYTHING that we use [for example a kite] into high tech. This was very weird. We were trying to find that time machine but then we found a school we went inside it. Then we saw that the principal,teachers, and students were robots! All the robots said “All humans must be destroyed” . We tried to run but the robots were too fast and they caught us, and for some reason they were using a old fashion way. CHOPPING OFF OUR HEADS! We some how got out of it and found the time machine and went 5 years back
