Inside the Box
“Hey, there’s a package for you!” my dad yelled as he closed the front door.
“A package for me?” I thought. I was 10 years old and had never received anything in the mail. I ran down the stairs.
The brown cardboard box was almost as big as I was. I couldn’t imagine this was for me but sure enough, there was a label on top of the box with my name and address. Who sent me this? And what could be inside?
“Go ahead, open it!” my dad said.
I peeled the tape off the top of the box.

and inside was a letter and a robe. I read the letter it said I was a wizard and was invited to join a school of magic and the first day of school wast September 1st I needed to bring 1 wand, 1 pet, 1 book of spells, 1 book of potions, 1 book of flying and my robe I was so excited but this didn’t make sense my dad dint understand eather then my mom came to me and said she was a wizard and my dad wasn’t. I can’t wait to go to magic school.
To my biggest surprise ,it was a large rocket ,and also came with space station that looked so much but it was more colorful and modern. i searched all around the box to find the sender ,to my greatest surprise ,it was from my grandparents for my birthday which was yesterday. i was so intensely excited .i called their phone and thanked them for the beautiful gift.
And found a mysterious light that lead in to a forest I saw a fox and said hi I saw a butterfly and said hi and then I found a moose and it gave me a big kiss the end
i opened the box and inside the box was another box! i opened the 2nd box and there was a huge pile of books and a 3rd smaller box. in the 3rd box i saw art supplies like paint and pastels.
after i finished opening the boxes my dad and i carried the box of boxes, books, and art supplies upstairs to my room. i liked that box :)
Inside the box there was a toy that was almost as big as me. The toy was made of wood and it even looked like me.I was so happy that I played with it all the time.It could walk,it could sleep but not eat and drink.It was wearing a nice shirt and a black coat on top of it and a white skirt and it looked really pretty.
And I saw a only a letter in the box. Nothing else. It said, “ Dear Paige, Hello. Would you like to play a game? If you do, get your phone and text to 34374652. I will tell you the rules. 1 When you start you must finish. 2 If you lose, you are gone. 3 Have fun. Thank you, V.” I did what i was told. Bammmm! I got into a savannah. I then knew I was in Lion prowl. I need to find a lion to win. If I find a rhino, I lose. I searched a den. No lion. I looked at a watering hole. Yes! I found a lion. Bammm! I’m back! I am going to throw that letter away. Done. The end.
A puppy! It was a Golden Retriever with a dog bowl, a bed, and several toys, including a chew bone, a tennis ball, and a mini tug-a-war rope. I looked at my dad. “Who sent me a puppy?” “Nobody sent you a puppy, somebody super-cool adopted a puppy for you, for your birthday, because he really loves you!” I laughed and hugged my dad. “Thank you!” I said. “Now we just need to name her.” “Him, you mean”, Dad corrected. “How about Buddy?” “Perfect!” I replied. “Buddy”, I said, picking him up, “Welcome to your new home!”
when I saw what was in the box I was exited !
It was a book. But I saw that I could join the summer reading or the gcr club.
so one day I went to the library.It was so much fun! but when I got home I really wanted to go to the library again! And my parents said that I could go all summer. so I was happy!
I folded the flaps open, then looked into the box. There sat a cheetah.
“THIS IS AWESOME” I said This was the best thing in the world. I had always wanted a cheetah I got it out of the box and put his leash on and took my cheetah for a walk. Now I have to come up with a name, I thought. “hmm, I wonder what I should name him?” I wondered outloud. “I know, Speedster!”
and then there was a blur of pink and white and i see a FLYING PIG!! i screamed and then it was gone. what happened i thought to myself. suddenly i hear my mom scream. oh no i thought. me and dad looked at eachother and then ran to where we heard the scream. we turned the corner and couldn’t believe what they saw….

I see a blue-ish white thing.
Twelve years later I discover…
It’s a portal gun!
I mess around with it for a while, but…
I forget to open the second portal!
And now I’m stuck in the void. I blast a few shots in the hope that
I might reach the outside world, but nothing happens.
I then see a sign float past me.
I grab it.
It says”Once you enter the void, you cannot escape.”
I freak out.
Then miraculously,
I find myself in my bed.
It was just a nightmare, I thought to myself.
Just then dad yells, “you’ve got a package!”
MEOW!!!i heard. i thought it was a cat. my dad peals the last pice of tape.a pet flew though the air. i did not see it.SWOOSH BOSH CA_BOOM!!!IT WAS A CAT! i sceamd. HOORAY TODAYS THE DAY! i said. a few weeks with the cat i heard some thing happaning in my room. i opend the door and… myMY CAT TERND INTO A UNI_KITTY!!!
as I peeled my box open, I heard a strange sound. It was very soothing but suspicious at the same time, like wind chimes. as soon as I opened the box, an adorable fox came out and there was a note that came with it. It said”I a little fox was stuck in a marsh for weeks and got rescued by a girl like you. I decided to take the risk of locking myself in the box. As soon as I read it, I saw a tiny tight looking collar on the fox.I looked at it and said to dad,”Can I cut off the collar so I did. the moment i did that, the fox was blocked by a whirlwind and then transformed into a fine young girl.That was when i remembered. Me as a little girl went on a walk. I saw a fox stranded so I jumped in. When I had saved it, the fox wanted to come

It was a puppy! “Surprise” Said dad! “What should I name him? I asked excitedly “how about splash” dad said indicating to the window where it had started to rain. “Ya” I said “come on splash! let’s go play in the yard!” Splash trotted along next to me very pleased with the fact that he was out of the box, this was definitely the best day ever!
It was a banch of baby stuff.” Baby stuff I don’t need baby stuff.” I said “ then I saw a letter I picked it up and it said from mom to my daughter.So I opened the letter and it said I’m having a baby here’s the stuff you need to get the house ready for it.I jumped with excitement I was so excited for my mom to have a baby, then I wondered is it going to be a girl or is it going to be a boy? So I picked up the phone and called my mom I said to her.” Hi mom thank you for sending that letter I’m so excited one thing I’m just wondering are you going to have a boy or a girl.” Then she said to me.” I’m having a baby girl.” So I said bye to my mom and I ran to the hospital as fast as I can , when I saw my baby sister then my mom said to me her name is Daisy. Then I said to Daisy “ I love you little sister and I promise nothing will ever hurt you .

I opened the box and my mom came out. She said Happy April Fool’s day, and mom was laughing. I was scared, but I laughed too.
