Inside the Box
“Hey, there’s a package for you!” my dad yelled as he closed the front door.
“A package for me?” I thought. I was 10 years old and had never received anything in the mail. I ran down the stairs.
The brown cardboard box was almost as big as I was. I couldn’t imagine this was for me but sure enough, there was a label on top of the box with my name and address. Who sent me this? And what could be inside?
“Go ahead, open it!” my dad said.
I peeled the tape off the top of the box.
Story Endings
Inside, hopped out a little kitten.
“Aww, a kitty! I wonder who sent me this.”
“Probably your Aunt Lily. She owns a pet store, AND you told her you always wanted a cat.” Said Dad.
“Well, why would she send me such a big box for a little kitten?” I asked.
“Let’s look inside the box.” Responded Dad.
In there sat another kitten, and a puppy! Both of them were staring at us.
“Aww!” We both said.
You know, surprises are the best things that happen on Christmas morning.
Then I saw it, the best thing ever! one, two and boom. It sprang right out of the box. It was the biggest best thing I have ever seen in my life. It was, it was, it was a kitty litter box. Which must have ment that i got a cat! it was awsome. I love my box of kitty litter also i like my cat tooBut, the box of kitty litter is way better because it is pink!
when I opened the box my friend popped out of the box and said “Happy birthday.”and so did my dad say that. Then I remembered that today was my birthday. After my friend got out of the box and I almost closed the door all my other friend scared and said “boo”. Then they came inside and I got to close the door without no one scaring. then, me and my friend had the cake and played out and we had the best time ever.
Inside there were a bunch of books. “Ew! Who would send a bunch of books for no good reason?” I asked. “Well, you haven’t been reading a lot this summer.” replied my dad. “Maybe you should check them out. They might be good.” “Why would I read when I’ve got my iPad?” “Alright, give it here. You can’t use this until you’ve read at least one of those books and can tell me what it’s about.” “Ugh, that’s not fair! Give it back!” “Life isn’t fair, and you can have it back when you’ve read a book.” I went outside and did nothing. Finally, I was bored enough that I opened one of the books and began to read. Hey, this isn’t so bad, I thought. I finished it that evening, and got my iPad back. The book was actually very interesting, and it led me to joining the TD summer reading club. And here I am now!
[NOT A TRUE STORY]
For a second I thought nothing was in this strange box. Then I saw it. A small metallic cube with a string on top. I reached in and tugged the string just as my dad said, “Don’t pull the string, you’re not ready!” It was too late. The damage was done, and yet the damage was just beginning. The cube began to unfurl. Each time a part of the box fell away the box floated up. When it was at the top there was almost nothing left of the metallic cube. I grabbed it just as the last scrap of metal dropped away. All that was left was an odd black mist, crawling through out the house. It stopped when it reached my front door. All the mist was sucked into a small shape. I ran to the door on shaky legs. Laying there was a ticket. ‘Agostinelli’s show of the impossible’ I snacked it from the ground and flipped it over. ‘The park at the corner of maple avenue’beside that was the time that it must start at. 1:05 . I glanced at the watch on my wrist, it read 1:02. Then the ticket vanished.
And I saw nothing in the box. Since I had nothing to do , i climbed into the box. i decided the box should be a time machine. And i spent the whole day making it a time machine. When I got in the time machine , i pressed the GO button. And suddenly I went accidentally into space !!! the end
a baby linx jumped out of the box. he was in a giant box! there was also a note. it said:”Hello. my name is Nathan the magical linx. i will play with you when ever you want.” that was the first and best package i ever got.
and then I opend up the box… and out pop’d a tiny littl cat MEOW! I skrim’d WOW! Who sent it? I don’t now! said dad.
And saw my very on Super Duper Mega-Ultra 3000 Leak Gun! I ran up to my dad and said “Oh, thank you, thank you”! I ran to the bathroom and filled it up with water and ran to my sister’s room and pressed the button and started to leak water at my sister. My sister Ashley was furious and started screaming furiously yelling at me then said “you can run but you can’t hide.” Hide?? I said then she turned into a goth looking girl and said “call me Candy Pop”I ran and remembered that the box was able to fit me. I said “Candy Pop look!” Then ran so fast then hid in the box with you Chipous. Ashley was finding until dad yelled “ASHLEY THERE’S A BOX FOR YOU!” Ashley turned back to normal and they were normal once again.
I was so excited to see what’s in the box when I opened the box it was a PS4 and I was so happy.
When I did, there was a bunch of smoke with sparkles ✨! Then, there was a thump. “Hello” said the mysterious thumper. Than, out of a blue, the thumper started going nuts!!!!! It yelled and scratched and meowed. Strange! I asked my dad “Wha t was in that box?” “I have no idea” said dad. It started purrrrring. It was a cat!!!! THE END
And then a lion jump out of the box the lion jump on the tv then a small card fall out of the box is say:Dear grandson in this box there will be a lion so be careful not to got hurt I am at the safari love gandfather
I peek inside. Woah. It’s a library of albums from the most famous K-pop bands. I stared at it in awestruck. On the top, I noticed my mom’s wavy cursive printing. the note said, “I love you”. That was I hugged the box and sobbed my tears out.
as soon as i opond the box thar was a pupydog and it remindid me of when i had a pupy i was playing outside and my pupy king disaperd and was gone for ever
When I peeled off the tape the box opened on its own. A beautiful kitten jumped out and ran toward the kitchen. Inside the box was also a letter. I slowly opened the envelope and read it out loud. it read:
Dear Sally Harper, This letter is from your real family. The family you live with right now are not your real family. Inside the envelope is also a ticket for you to come back to your family in India, Mumbai. We want you home and we desperately miss you so make sure not to waste the ticket.

I couldn’t believe it so I ran to the front door and ran away. It was all too much to take in so I ignore my so-called “Parents” calling after me and ran away. From that time on I decided to live on the streets and never trust anyone again
and I screamed. ‘Demons!’ I tried to close the box but the demons tried to choke me. but it was a prank. It was just my friends joking around. They were dressed in costumes and trying to scare me.
I thought it was so funny that I asked them to stay for dinner. They were all wearing their costumes when we ate our pizza pockets and pogos.
And to my surprise my best who moved to Japan last year was inside the box. I said”Jaspar what are you doing in there?” Jaspar said that my mom and dad broke up and my moms new husband sent me here to live with you a year ago and sent my mom to Manitoba a year and two months ago. You have to help me get my mom back. PLEASE… And so they told rylan’s dad and they all flew with everything to Japan and lived happily ever after.
i was so surprised when I looked inside.It was a enormous remote controlled car.I played with it for hours and hours.My dad was so surprised how long I played with it .
In side there was a massive flower it smelled like the crisp morning air! The flower shot right in to the air it went above the cloud in to outer space I climbed and climbed in tell I reattached in to another galaxy it was out of this world well because it was! It was my best adventure yet I loved seeing everything on my way it was the same way like when I went up it was the best thing ever!
