Growing Up
Blake walked back into the apartment lobby with his younger brother Milo by his side. They had spent their afternoon playing catch in the park. Blake had been frustrated because Milo couldn’t catch well.
Yea, yea… Milo was only 5 years old and still learning, and Blake was 10 — and “Blake should be more patient”, as their mom constantly reminded him. Blake had heard it all before.
The boys approached the elevator and Milo pushed the button to go up. As the boys waited for the elevator to come down to the lobby, Blake had an idea.
“Hey, Milo, I’ll race you”, Blake said.
“Race? How?” Milo asked.
“As soon as the elevator comes, you go in and push the button for 3”, Blake instructed. “I’ll run up the stairs to the 3rd floor. We’ll see who gets their first.”
“Ding”. The elevator arrived at the lobby floor. Milo stepped in and Blake bolted toward the staircase.
Blake ran up the stairs two at a time, past the sign for the second floor and then onto the third. Then, he raced down the hallway to the elevator. Milo wasn’t in the hallway yet, and Blake was pleased with himself.
“Yes, I win!” Blake panted, as he pressed his ear close to the elevator doors to hear it coming.
“Ding”. The doors opened and a man walked out — a young man, about 20-years-old. Blake had a vague sense that he knew this person.
“Milo?” Blake asked, confused, looking past the man and seeing the elevator was otherwise empty.
“Hello Blake”, said the 20-year-old Milo. “We have a lot to talk about.”

Blake was confused but excited that he won’t have to be patient to 20 year old milo since he can do all thing now and the next time htey race .blake too the stairs again ..He won but milo hasnt arrived . Ding the elevator arrived and there was 5 year old milo….
”If your twenty then I should be thirty!” says blame in aw. ’wow then I’m old!” hahaha

“what?” “but you were just there as a 5 year old what happened?” said blake. “i’m from the future.” said Milo. “but thats impossible” said blake “ in the future you’ll understand. but we something to talk about.” said Milo. But 5 year old Milo is coming what are we going to tell him? “nothing. i’m making this fast and simple. take care of five year old me and be nice you’ll always regret not being nice.” and he left. Blake was confused. But he took Milo’s words. When 5 year old Milo came finally, blake said “Hey Milo do you want me to buy you some icecream?” “huh? yes please!” said Milo and from that day, blake was way nicer.
Come and sit i will get you some juice and snacks they sat and stadered talking then the time was up for them to leave bye bye said blake and milo and they went to home and stadered to play suddenly a sound of joy it’s my birthday🎉🎈🎈🎈🎂🎂🎂said tom their freind come lets have party they enjoyed .

“What how did you grow so fast it’s weird” said Blake
“Where is mom and dad what happened to them,Wait what if you go back and i go down the stairs

They started to talk about how he got to be 20 years old that fast.
Milo suggested that what he thought was an elevator was really a time machine!
Blake said, “How ridiculous! How could that be a time machine in an apartment building?!”
Blake realized that he was in the future. He looked around and he saw lots of people that he had never seen before.
Blake wonted his Brother to get him Back to his Age and he Press the Button Of The elevator and his Your little brother was Back to his age Again Blake Would never Be mad at Has Little brother Again

Blake was very confused. “Milo?” He said again unsure of himself. “Yes Blake, and like I said, we have a lot to talk about about about about about about. Blake Blake Blake Blake Blake Blake.” “ Ahhh!!!” Blake springs upright in his bed and looks to his right, where his brother, Milo, is yelling his name over and over, trying to wake him up. Milo opens his eyes at the sound of his startled brothers cry. He had been yelling Blake’s name with all that he had, and closing his eyes seemed to emphasize it. Blake was glad that his brother was his normal size, and not older than him. He realizes, he likes hi younger brother how he is, and decides to be more patient.
Blake was really confused, but little did he now that he could teleported into the future and stop time. Milo wanted a rematch against him playing the simplest game catch. Since Blake could stop time, but he didn’t know so each time Milo threw a ball hard he would stop time and always catch it. Later on since he would stop time he finally realized how his power could help. Blake start screaming like a maniac that he had powers, once he thought about that he thought to himself could other people have powers to🤔? But that is a question he never figured out.
blake was confused he did not want to show Mom he thought for three hours and he thought it could be a time machine but then he thought and thought and he said wait that can’t be possible so he asked milo he said when he was halfway up he suddenly felt way older blake told Mom that she did not know so he was just 20 years old from then on
Blake was very confused. “Milo? What? How?”
“So for starters,” Milo said “This elevator works in mysterious ways.i came up and you weren’t there so I thought i had one for once but then you never came, I asked mom about you and she said that i was an only child and that she never I never had an older brother. I thought that she was joking so i asked around and no one had herd of you. So i played along and made everyone think that i wasn’t crazy, but i always new that i would see you again someday.”
So you went along with this for 15 years?! Blake exclaimed.
“Ya, isn’t it crazy? Milo replies. “ I am now engaged and am almost done my second year in my teaching degree.” My wedding is in a couple of days! I have a house across town and i was just coming here to make sure my suit was ready.”
“Wow,” Blake said “I guess i got my wish Now I won’t have to wait for you to be older.” he answered.
They shared a laugh and went home.
“For starters i’m 20 years old now and i’m the older one” said the 0 year old Milo.
“How are you this old by just going into the elevator?”asked Blake
“What’s happening?” Blake asked confusingly. “It’s a long story!” Milo exclaimed. As soon as I went into the elevator, a tall man gave me some chocolates and said they would make me really smart. In curiosity I grabbed them and ate them all up. In just a snap he disappeared leaving a cloud of fog in the mysterious elevator. Soon enough I noticed that I was able to reach the highest floor on the elevator. I felt taller and realized that I had bigger hands! “What happened to me!” I exclaimed to myself. That’s when the doors opened and I had a big concern if you would recognize me or not and thankfully you did! That sure is a long story Blake said. Yep! Milo agreed. Well don’t worry I’ll take you home and in 2 days, it’ll all be back to normal! Thanks! Milo said with a happy face. No Problem! Blake said, I’ll always be there for you! 🍫 The End 🍫
Suddenly their apartment door opened. “Milo?” Blake asked? “Yes, I’m right here, in the hallway.” “Then who is..” “my name’s Milo too.” Said the man.
“For one thing, how am I 20 years old? And for another, why has this never happened to anyone else? Also, is it only me that’s older?” Blake was very confused, but If so, how????

“There was secret door and I went into it. There was a magic potion bottle and I drank it. It made me older!” said Milo.
Blake was happy his little brother grew up! Now they could play ball together. Also Milo could get his license and drive Blake around in car!

“Like what? You only just walked out of an elevator and now you look like uncle Jerry!” Blake said, sarcasm stinging the air.
“Uncle Jerry is 40!!!” Milo exclaimed.
“Yea, you do not age well.” Blake said, still angry about how Milo stunk at catching.
“Well, now I’M the older brother. In medieval times if our family was royal I would be next in line for the crown.”
Blake laughed. “It’s like a reverse fountain of youth!!!”
Milo stared at Blake, almost as if he were speaking in pig-Latin. Blake just stared, straight into Milo’s soul. They looked at eachother for a while, until someone pushed Milo out of the way and he fell into the elevator. Blake instinctively bolted back down the stairs and his little brother stepped out of the elevator, but still with five-o’clock-shadow on his face. “What happened???” Milo asked.
“Nothing,” Blake said, trying not to laugh. “Let’s both take the stairs this time, ok???”
“Fine with me.” Milo said.
Blake was wondering if he was dreaming or if this real. A s soon as he realised this was real he passed out for 45 seconds. “Milo, bro, is that really you?” asked Blake curiously. The 20-year-old Milo replied, “No I am an angel sent down from heaven”. He starts to giggle. “Of course it’s me bro, this weird thing happened to me… it was li..but as soon as Milo could even finished Blake had run into the lift too!!
