Growing Up
Blake walked back into the apartment lobby with his younger brother Milo by his side. They had spent their afternoon playing catch in the park. Blake had been frustrated because Milo couldn’t catch well.
Yea, yea… Milo was only 5 years old and still learning, and Blake was 10 — and “Blake should be more patient”, as their mom constantly reminded him. Blake had heard it all before.
The boys approached the elevator and Milo pushed the button to go up. As the boys waited for the elevator to come down to the lobby, Blake had an idea.
“Hey, Milo, I’ll race you”, Blake said.
“Race? How?” Milo asked.
“As soon as the elevator comes, you go in and push the button for 3”, Blake instructed. “I’ll run up the stairs to the 3rd floor. We’ll see who gets their first.”
“Ding”. The elevator arrived at the lobby floor. Milo stepped in and Blake bolted toward the staircase.
Blake ran up the stairs two at a time, past the sign for the second floor and then onto the third. Then, he raced down the hallway to the elevator. Milo wasn’t in the hallway yet, and Blake was pleased with himself.
“Yes, I win!” Blake panted, as he pressed his ear close to the elevator doors to hear it coming.
“Ding”. The doors opened and a man walked out — a young man, about 20-years-old. Blake had a vague sense that he knew this person.
“Milo?” Blake asked, confused, looking past the man and seeing the elevator was otherwise empty.
“Hello Blake”, said the 20-year-old Milo. “We have a lot to talk about.”

when milo was running he saw a lemonade stand and he wants to go but he does not have money the person said he will give it for free so he got some and he turned old when they came home they sat and milo told the story when milo mom came she was surprised she said milo is that you are so big milo told his mom she got a little scared at first but then she understood when it was time to have dinner he got small
When Milo was going to 3 floor at second floor he met a uncle. The uncle was giving candies. So Milo took one then he became 20 years old . So he went at 3 floor .OOOOOOOMMMMMMMGGGGGGG Blake suddenly wake up it was 3:00 am morning and realized that he will never leave his brother alone. Oh thank god !!! it was a dream.The End !!
“How did you ever do that?”, Blake asked. Milo smiled and passed a mirror to him. “OMG wait a moment I am 25 years old now!”, Blake shouted. Suddenly, rainbow circles surrounded them. They fainted. When they woke up, they were normal. “Phewph.”, Milo said. “We are back to normal now.”, Blake said. It was actually just A DREAM!!:)
“But…how?”, Blake said, astonished. What had happened in the elevator? “I got to the top of the elevator, but you weren’t there.” Milo said. “Mom, Dad and I searched everywhere for you, but when we finally found you, you were frozen on the stairs. Like you were stuck in time.” Blake looked in a nearby mirror and saw a 25-year-old version of himself looking back… Blake woke with a start. He looked in another mirror. He was back to normal. It had been a dream. “Blake”, a familiar voice shouted. It was Milo. 5-year-old Milo. Now he was sure everything was back to normal. “Blake, you slept through the movie. It was so cool. The guy who was stuck in time finally got back to normal, and…” Blake stopped listening. Now he knew why he’d had the dream. “Milo”, Blake interrupted “Why don’t we go play catch”. “But you’ll yell at me.”, Milo said, looking down. “Not this time.”, Blake said. Blake now saw that he needed to appreciate the time he had with Milo. All thanks to a dream. The end.
When I was in the elevator, a elf appeared and asked “I heard you, do you want me to transform you into your dreams?” Yes please said Milo. Milo asked the Elf if he could have lots of wishes. The Elf said Yes. The Elf said the magic words and all Milos wishes came true. Then he arrived at the 3rd floor seeing Blake! Then when Milo waved his hands he was gone.
Blake questions Milo “what happened in that elevator?” Milo answered well you wished that I could catch better, now I’m a base ball for the new York Yankees, you wish I could jump higher on the trampoline and now I’m an Olympic high jumper, anything you wished I could do before I now am the bet at doing! after you darted off to the stairs I saw a mysterious old lady, she was holding a bottle and it said you wish you become! so I politely asked if I could take a sip out of the bottle and she said if you do and your wish is something only an adult has done you will turn into an adult, she also said as many things you want to accomplish in your child hood you take as many sips as needed because you cant go back to your childhood to finish it all off. then she gave me the bottle and I took a sip and wished to be the new York Yankee’s coach! I also wished to be a very famous lawyer and here I am! Blake asked do you have that bottle still and if you do came take a sip or two? PLEASE!!!
He said,”why did you leave your brother alone in a elevator”.He also told that your brother is just 5 years old,you need to take care of him.He was shocked to watch his brother at 20 years old. Blake said, “I am so sorry,I will never leave him alone in a elevator and also I will take care of him”.
Blake stood there in shock for a moment. It looked like his brother, but much older. How could this happen, he thought. As if his brother could read his mind, Older Milo responded, “Remember when you wished that you didn’t have to watch me and how you said it was annoying to have a little brother? Well you don’t have to worry about it anymore because YOU are MY little brother now!”. But Blake wasn’t happy. Not at all. This was all too weird for him and he wanted things to go back to normal. All of a sudden, he woke up. The whole thing was a dream and he saw regular 5 year old Milo shaking his shoulder awake. “Are you awake now Blake?”, whispered little Milo, trembling. “I had a bad dream and you always get rid of the bad dreams for me.” said Milo. Blake beamed with pride, his brother looked up to him and he decided that that was the best part of being a big brother.
it happened that that man had kidnapped Milo and was going to kidnap Blake too, but Blake understood this already by the way the man was walking menacingly towards him. He called for the police as fast as he could, the man got arrested. And the good thing was, that Milo and Blake had a better relationship now. But the bad thing was, that their parents were now being way too overprotective. Which had its consequences…
“Wha?!” “Milo your 20 years old!” Said Blake. “Blake relax it’s just a dream..dream….dream… “AHHHHHH!!” cried Blake. “Oh, it’s just a dream.” Said Blake in embarrassment.
Milo came running in the room, “Blake are you okay?” Said Milo. Yes thanks sis, I dreamed you were – “Ahhhh”. Cried Blake. “You are 20 years old!” “Yea Little bro, I am you big sister?” Said Milo.
“You seem weird today Blake, are you sure you are ok?” Said Milo. “Yea thanks Milo.” Said Blake. “But how are you loser than me!”
“You must had a dream for quite a long time!” Said Milo.
“What do you mean?” Said Blake.
“Oh, nothing, go back to bed.” Said Milo.
“Ok I guess?” Said Blake.
Blake thought Milo grew in the elevator but he had to test it out. So he went down the stairs and got in the elevator. But instead of growing inside the elevator he just kept going higher. Suddenly Blake was going over a rainbow.then he went down and down. The next thing he knew he was in the lobby. He came out and said how did that happen.then he had an idea. The next day he went out to get some friends.then they all went back to Blake’s apartment. Jack went first. Blake said go in there. Then Jack got in the elevator which spun around in circles. Interesting Blake said. Then Lily went in the elevator floated a little bit. Then Eva got in. For a minute the elevator was surrounded in fruit. Then it came of. Eva got out. Then Blake told Bill to get in the elevator. Bill said why do I have to get in there. Blake said none of your business. Bill said then I won’t get in there. Blake said fine, go everybody. So they went away. Then Blake told Milo to go in in and he shrunk.

“wasn’t Milo 5 years old when he came in the elevator?” exclaimed Blake after he and Milo sat beside the wall in the hallway
“Yes, but your mother didn’t tell you that I was a robot,” said Milo. Then, Milo taped something on his arm and it then changed him back to a 5-year old boy “I tried to scare you by pretending to be a grown up but knowing that you didn’t know I was a robot means that it will be a perfect time to tell you”
“oh….,” said Blake “ I need to have a talk with mom”
Blake had a quiet chat with Milo. Then time to go home, mom said? Aww already, replied Milo. Okay we will go home, Bye Milo and Milo sets off and says, ‘‘Tomorrow we are going to race again. And had just as Milo said they raced again. Blake didn’t want to lose so he cheated, Poor Blake was angry with himself for doing this and apologized to Milo. Milo was friendly and pardoned him. They were very good friends, and lived friendly forever and ever.

Little did Blake know that his little brother was actually just a touchable hologram of his older brother his mother never talked about. Milo tricked Blake into thinking that he had magically quadruple his age just by going in the elevator. Blake was terrified. Where was his lil bro? “Don’t fret Blake, I won’t hurt you. I’m here to help you with your life.” Milo said to Blake as he walked out. “B-but”, stuttered Blake, “I don’t know you! How am I supposed to trust you?”
“Ah, don’t worry.” “Go away, I don’t know you!” “I’m Milo, relax.” “MOM, THERES THIS 20 YEAR OLD GUY CLAIMING HE’S MILO!!”
“That is Milo my dear, I’m sorry I never told you,” his mom sighed, “he’s here to help. Please trust him my dear.” Blake exclaimed, “HOW COME YOU NEVER TOLD ME THEN?”. “I said I’m sorry, he had to kept a secret as I knew you would react like this.” Blake gave up, “Alright, alright. I get it. But can we get to know each other first?”. And that’s how the 2 brothers budded their broship.
Milo’s elevater was so slow it took 20 years to come. When it finally came Blake said “let’s race” Mom said I had to be paiceint and i did so now we can race right to the playground 3,2,1 go! They raced all the way to the playground but surprisingly Milo won! “But, but how?” Panted Blake. “Oh” said Milo being stuck in a elevater for fifteen years does have its benefits. I needed to get my energy out!
“How is this happening??” Blake said, panicking. “How are you 20 years old already?” “Well,” Milo explained, “I don’t know exactly, but here’s my guess: You know how we never take the stairs to go up because we think it’s too slow?” “Yeah,” Blake replied. “Maybe there’s a time machine IN the staircase that makes time slow down IN the staircase, but time is passing quicker OUTSIDE of it.” Milo guessed. “Nice idea! But do you have an idea how to fix this so I’M 25 and YOU’RE still 20?” Blake asked. “I think I have an idea. Time slowed down when you went UP the stairs. Maybe time will speed up when you go DOWN the stairs!” Milo said, nodding his head. “Great idea, Milo! I’ll go down the stairs! Meet me at the bottom!” Blake exclaimed. They went down. END
Blake was confused, before he was going to talk with 20 year old milo he went to check if the 5 year old milo was still there he looked all around but it was no use’s the 5 year old milo was not there so he went to talk to the 20 year old milo and said “Where is my little brother that is 5 year old” said blake the 20 year old milo said you had time traveled now blake was super confused what he said how? The 20 year old milo said “ because when you raced milo/me to the next floor you were climing the staires and if you touch the railing you will be transported to the time that you were populor and i was just a normal so blake tried to go back so he touched the railing and said bye to the 20 year old milo and so when he came back he gave his 5 year old brother a big hug and said i will never forget you milo.Milo was confused but he gave a another hug to blake the end.
Milo was in a costume looking like a 20 year old but still five year old Milo. Blake got pranked
