Treasure Hunters
On the weekends, Marisol and Keanu meet up to hang out. Keanu uses his wheelchair on the sidewalk, while Marisol rides her bike on the street.
On Saturday, Keanu rushed over to their meeting spot inside the park by the fountain. “Marisol! Look what I found in the attic!”
“What is it?” she asked excitedly.
Keanu showed her a crumpled piece of paper. It looked like a treasure map based on the drawing with an X-marked spot.
The local library, pharmacy and convenience store were drawn and marked, along with Keanu’s house and the park they were meeting at. Whatever was buried was in their neighbourhood.
“I think it belonged to my granny. Want to go check what’s buried there?”
“Sure!” Marisol replied.
“There are the three trees that are drawn here, with a bench beside the third one,” Keanu pointed out as he tapped on the map.
When they arrived there, Marisol looked around. “From here we have to go past the pond behind the library and beyond that area.” She motioned to where the librarian did outdoor storytime.
“Almost there! This is so exciting!” Marisol remarked after they passed the families heading to the library. “Where do we go next?”
Story Endings
They will go to the librarian and check out some books about how to find treasure. They will learn in the books about looking carefully for clues and to be careful about traps. Then they go and find the treasure. They follow the map to an old abandoned house. When Marisol stepped on a carpet, she fell down a hole underneath it. She was able to climb back up out of the hole using roots on the side of the pit and help from Keanu’s motorized wheelchair. Then they put the rug back and headed back to the library to share their story. Turned out the librarian had the prize all along, they just had to learn how to find treasure in the library.
Look there is an arrow at my house, Said Marisol. So they went there and the saw something. The grave yard of her grandmother.
We go to the outdoor story hour. Let’s go! 1 min later they were sitting and listening to the story. It was the best treasure ever.
they passed the pond and went around the pharmacy, the convenience store, and Keanus house but then it said to go back to the park so they did. But it said that the treasure was right where they were standing so they dug. And they found the treasure and it was lots of gold coins!

We should go to the Museum and dig a big hole where all the animals are and then they will find the BEST TREASURE EVER
they looked around… hmm Marisol said look there. she pointed at a arrow made out of twigs they followed it and and found foot prints they followed it and found them selves where they started. where is the treasure? Keanu said. yah! said Marisol. then Keanu’s grandma came outside and said the treasure was this. she took out a red container and in it was cookies. BEST TREASURE EVER!!! they yelled
They go behind the library and they cross the pond,beyond the area and they reach a strange shack hidden in the bushes.As they approach the shack,a trap hidden under the fallen leaves is triggered.Marisol fell down to a pit of 1 m and a half deep filled with water”Help!”Cried Marisol.There were only a few materials in the pit:A barrel,a short rope & a wet rotten pizza.The pit was starting to get filled with more water.Marisol knew how to swim buy she was to afraid.Marisol decided to go in the barrel as the water filled the pit.The barrel was floating to the surface and Marisol escaped than drown.”Be careful!This place is booby trapped!”Marisol said nervously.”Very well.You escaped the first trap to test your intelligence.You shall continue your journey and reach the treasure.if you can.”Chuckled mysteriously the voice.Keanu and Marisol continued in the old structure.As they reached the buried treasure in the shack,Keanu’s granny exclaimed”Congrats!”You solved my treasure hunt!The end!
They looked at the map. It said to go to the museum. When they got there they saw an X on the map that said the treasure was in the extinct animal room.They went there and and saw an X on a picture of an extinct Dodo bird.They both touched the X and were suddenly whisked away to a land of Unicorns!

“we have to go to the library next” Marisol said There was anothere clue waiting there for them it said go to the nerest pharmcie and get you next clue, so were were off. When we got to the pharmacy we pulled out our map and it said that the next clue would be under the big book case, so we pulled the book case aside and there it was the last clue, leading us to the treasure.
They go behind the library, but there is no X. So they check the convenience store and pharmacy. But there is still no X, so they check the beach. They find an X on the beach, so they dig where the x is. They find a treasure chest where the X is. They realize there was a key on the map. so they pick the key up and unlock the treasure chest. Then they found a bunch of gold.
Then they saw pirates sailing on a pirate ship. So they hid I the trees on the beach. Then the pirates put another pirate chest in the whole where the other pirate chest was, that had more gold. Then the pirates left and Marisol and Keanu opened up the other chest. They found gold and pirate clothes. So they put the pirate clothes on, then the bought a pirate ship with the gold. Then they went on the pirate ship and looked for more treasure.
Then the kraken came out of nowhere and they had to battle it. Then they saw an island behind the kraken. So they parked their ship at it and went searching for treasure.
We go to the jets game to get a hotdog then we go see grandpa in Winnipeg the we go Saskatchewan to see great grandma and grandpa to say happy birthday day then we get on our plane to dessert to find so much treasure that is one million pounds heavier then the jet (that’s heavy) y’a I know now we can get a pirate ship!
“Where do we go next?” We will go to the mailbox. Then we will move over to the hydrant. We will dig until we find the treasure. First we dig left. Then, we dig right. Then we dig straight down. Now we found a new map. The map said “come out of the hole”. So they did. They climbed out of the hole and they opened the hydrant. Inside there was a hole that went down. They jumped in and there was a treasure. When they opened the treasure, there was a map that said “come out of the hole quick”. They came out of the hole and they climbed out. They put their foot down on the sidewalk. One of the stones on the sidewalk moved, and they went in. There was a treasure there. It was signed “Lenny, the dog”. When they opened the treasure, Lenny, the dog, jumped out. He climbed onto the sidewalk, stomped down the street. The panel on the sidewalk closed on the kids. Then Lenny jumped into the mailbox and read the newspaper. The kids, punched on the sidewalk while Lenny kept reading. The end.
We went to pirate wonderland. In that wonderland, there are roller coasters, a [pirate wheel, and more rides and games, and most of all, “TREASURE”. We took the treasure home and we became because of gold.

” I dunno know” Keanu said “ but we could go to the ice cream place “ Why?” Marisol asked “because i need a snack, what about you? “ “ We can have a snack after we figure out where the map leads, ok? “ “ okay okay” Keanu said. “ Let’s go to the rocky hills ok? “Marisol said “sure” he replied. 10 minutes later….. Why are up HERE, of all the places in the neighbourhood” because the rocks form an X shape don’t you think? “ she asks. “ oh now i see it, thanks Marisol” he replies.” I have shovels, let’s get to work” 15 minutes later….. “ Still nothing “ she said sadly. “ Kids!
