Fabled Creatures Zoo
“Well, that was fun!” my mom exclaimed on the drive home. “Who would have ever thought those creatures actually existed?!”
My mom and I had just visited the world’s first drive-through Fabled Creatures Zoo. It’s a safe haven for mythical creatures from across Canada. According to what I heard on the news, this place had existed for years, and they finally decided to open it to the public.
Tourists from around the world were booking flights to Canada to see the creatures.
“Which creature was your favourite?” my mom asked as we pulled into our driveway.
“I dunno,” I replied. “Probably the dragon or the unicorn.”
“I liked the yeti,” my mom responded with a smile. “He was cute.”
“Mommm …” I exclaimed, trying to hold back a laugh.
As our car pulled into our driveway, we heard a noise from the trunk.
Knock, knock, knock.
“What on earth was that?” I asked.
“Maybe one of the zoo creatures snuck into our trunk?” my mom responded.
We walked to the back of the car. My mom put her key in the lock, turned it, and slowly opened the trunk.
Story Endings
There was a egg. Maybe an ostrich egg? I thought. Mom said “look! OH MY GOD ITS HATCHING!” I gasped. Two scaly wings unfurled and a little dragon peeped out. It was mint green. “let’s name it Toothpaste!” I said. “honey…” my mom said “we can’t keep it” The dragon and me glared at her. “alright, alright!” my mom said putting her hands up in the air. So, triumphantly, I stepped into the car. Toothpaste sat on my lap but then sniffed around the car. He had found my secret candy stash! He ripped open the bag of sourpatch kids and ate it! Then he found my bag of M & Ms. He ate some and his eyes grew wide. I soon found out M & Ms were his favourite. Then he made a snuffling sound and climbed into my lap. he started snoring softly, puffs of smoke coming out of his nose. He was adorable. When we got home my dog did a happy dance, then he saw Toothpaste. They instantly became besties. The only problem with having a dragon is they set off the smoke alarm a lot. (I learned from experience)
There was a Yeti inside!The yeti was eating a cake and it asked sheepishly oh was this for someone else? We adoped the yeti.
A baby dragon was just sitting there! So confused and scared I quickly picked it up “oh! are you ok?” I look deeper in the trunk “oh no! my secret stash of french fries! all gone! i looked back at the dragon sigh you ate them didn’t you? the dragon smiles and curls up in my arms and falls asleep “mom?” “yes?” “can we please keep it?” “oh alright”grins maybe we can sneak in a yeti then?” THE END
And there was a baby unicorn there. I thought it was very cute and I said to my mom if we could keep it but she said only for a week. I said I wanted to name it and I thought of a name Uni. I am not that creative. After a few minutes there was a store named “ Unicorn shop” and we saw a sign that says that there is things we would need for a unicorn. So mom said she will go to the shop and I will stay in the car with Uni. A hour later mom came back and we went home. Uni was good during the time. And when the came to give her back we could not find the zoo. Was a dream? I pinched my seft but noting happend. My mom said we could keep her and I got so happy.
And much to our surprise there was a white beautiful unicorn with a golden horn tapping its pink hoofs on the floor of the trunk.
So we carefully closed the trunk and took the unicorn back to the zoo to be with the other creatures.
And a cyclops was eating a cake in the trunk! “Oh, did this belong to someone else?” he asked sheepishly.
A big unknown creature jumped out of the trunk.it ran to the house and busted open the door. When we slowly walked in the house we saw the creature was eating all of are food! Then it walked over to the the living room and tore the couch to smitherins! That was not all ,also picked up are table and threw it at the tv! It was the most cool but also the worst day of our lives.
