Band Practice
Emma, Sam, and Mansi are all in Sike’s garage jamming out during band practice. They’re super excited to be performing at their school’s talent show next week. They have been practising for over a month and have noticed improvement each week.
Mansi, who is drumming as loudly as she can, did not notice that the others stopped playing until she looks up and she sees that they are talking to someone on the sidewalk. When she sees with whom they’re talking, she stops and runs to join the rest of her friends.

Sam why did you pinch me?” “You told someone to pinch you so I did.” “Oh yeah, I forgot, sorry Sam.” “It’s okay Mansi.” “Why are you here in our city anyways?” asks Mansi. I wanted to move to a new place where I could get away from the crowds. My fans always try to figure out where I live, so I’ve been moving around the country a lot lately. “ said Ava the band’s favourite lead singer. Ava said “Now I live just across the street from Sike’s house.” “Sike, we have to come to your house and practice band together more.” said Mansi. Emma exclaimed “Maybe we could ask Ava about some band tips and she could help us.” Sure! I would be pleased to help” said Ava. Let’s start practicing! all of them exclaimed. After many months of practice, the band was ready and they got to perform with Ava and her band at a concert.
