Secret in the Garden
“Hurry up, Max!” Jules yelled. “The faster we dig, the faster we get pizza. I’m already hungry.”
Max and Jules had agreed to spend Saturday morning digging the garden to get it ready for the planting season. As soon as they finished, their mom had promised a pizza lunch—it was a fair trade-off, they thought. But just an hour into digging, Max was feeling tired.
“I’m working as fast as I can!” Max yelled back.
Max gripped his shovel tighter and dug deep. His shovel moved through the soil. Crack!
“What on earth was that?” thought Max. “Hey, Jules, I think I hit something!” he shouted.
“It’s probably just a rock,” Jules said. “Just keep going.”
Max continued to dig carefully. A round, white object slowly emerged.
“Jules, it’s not a rock!” he exclaimed. “It’s like…a big, round white thing.”
Jules walked over to look. They resumed digging around the object. The top of the object became clearer.
“It’s an egg!” Jules shouted. They continued to dig until finally, they could reach down and remove the egg from the soil.
Holding the gigantic egg, the boys were mesmerized. It was as big as a soccer ball!
“Oh, no,” Max said, pointing to a small crack in the top of the egg. “I must have cracked it with my shovel.”
Ever so slowly, the crack started to expand.
“Something’s hatching!” Jules shouted. He gently placed the egg back on the soil and they took a few steps back.
Story Endings
A dragon emerged from the egg with a glowing light, sending them backwards. Or was it a dragon? No it was an ice cream truck shaped like a dragon. It’s music filled their ears, calling them closer. Max and Jules ran to the truck, unable to stop themselves. Drool ran down their chins as they gazed into the wide selection of flavours behind the glass. The metal window slid open, revealing a young man behind the counter. “How can I help you?” He asked adjusting his brown overalls. A look at despair passed through Jules’s face but the it left and he said. “I’m sorry sir we don’t have any money.” He turned away. “Free for you two.” The man said. “After all you did hatch my truck.” Max and Jules wearily took the ice cream from the man’s hands and thanked him. They turned away to resume their work as the truck zoomed away.
“BOO” cried out a familiar voice from inside the egg and out popped a small green demon-like creature.
“I have come to eat you!” shouted the scale covered part of its face where a mouth was supposed to be.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH” shouted the boys and ran away screaming.
“The first victims are always the best,” thought the creature and cackled.
The egg broke right open to reveal a baby dinosaur! “He’s not so bad!” said Max. But then, when they looked deeper into the hole, they saw something they didn’t expect. “PIZZA!!!!!” said Max excitedly. And so the two friends and their new pet dinosaur ate pizza for the rest of the afternoon. The End.
A big chicken cracks out of the egg. The big chicken eats up their house. Now they have to live outside forever.
max and jules saw something in the egg they slowly examined the egg.Wow max said it’s a tresure. max said Jules i’m to hungry for pizza let’s do this tomorrow.
Then the egg started to hatch. When it finally did, there was a pizza box. Max and Jules stared at each other and both agreed to carefully open it. Inside there was a button and when Max pushed it, the ground started to drop below them. When it stoped there was some sort of door and suddenly it opened to a VERY quiet and secret garden. It was hatching, extremely slowly. SuDdEnLy music started to play. It was a wierd jingle. They were stunned when they realized it was from the egg. Max was the first to speak, “is that…..” “….the pizza song?” The pizza song was the annoying tune that played whenever there was a PiZzA commercial. The egg had finally finished hatching. They looked in it, and there was a pizza box laying on the ground. They looked at each other… WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT
The next thing they saw was a…. packet of seeds? Yes, it was a packet of seeds. They were mesmerized by the shimmering light. “Hey Jules,” exclaimed Max “ how about we plant these seeds?” “Why not, it might be an interesting experience” responded Jules. The next day they went outside the moment their mom had driven off to work. They dug 5 little holes for the 5 little seeds in the backyard on the edge of the garden. First the white and yellow seed. Then the blue, cubed seed. And finally the three little green ones. They waited for three long months for their seeds to grow. Finally after the three months the flower opened. “It’s more packs of seeds!” exclaimed Max.”Lets save them for next summer”
They were amazed and astounded by what they saw when the egg hatched. It was an Oviraptor, a dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period. Jules and Max stood there in shock. Their mom shattered the silence by saying,”Boys, are you both done with your job yet?”“No mom, not yet”replied both boys. Jules said,”Max, what are we going to do about this?” Max didn’t reply. Max was actually thinking about how the egg got there. With that many years that the dinosaur was in the egg, it would’ve died already. In the end, they just decided to tell their mother.”WHAT?!?!A DINOSAUR?!?!” squealed their mother. Then, suddenly, the Oviraptor escaped! It went into the middle of the street and disappeared. Then, Max and Jules woke up. It was really creepy that they had the same dream. After that was a usually good day. But no one knew what was really waiting for them in the garden…
there was a beam of light and there hatched a baby phoenix and he was the cutest thing they have ever seen and decided to name it blaze they took it home and asked there mother to keep it and there mom said if they would look after it then it was a yes they agreed and got to keep it and they lived happily ever after.
A baby night fury dragon hatched from the egg!!! Max and Jules were shocked!!! Then Jules said “this is sooo cool!!! I think we should name it toothless, like from the books.” “ yeh, I think so to. But we have to ask mom if we can keep him.” Max said. So the two boys went to their mom to ask if they could keep toothless and there mom said, “ do you think you could look after Him? It’s a big job.” “ oh we can do it.” Said max and Jules. “ ok, you can keep him.” Said there mom. Hooray!!!!!!
They took one step back and the eggshells exploded everywhere! Then some green fog started surrounding the egg then comes a little creature, a peculiar creature! It was a blue cat with tiny wings, it has pink cheeks and IT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER! Max and Jules decided to name him Happy since he was the happiness of their friendship! They raised him together until it was time for him to go! -Happygirl1809 <3
out came a creatre it stared to waked away max and jules followed it it saw them and said what do you want max said to see where you are going it said ok my name is addison they waked until addison stoped what now jules said. addison said it my secret garden! they had so much fun they forgot about the pizza until they heard a call pizza max said we have to go home now ok but come back soon said addson we will said jules as they waked home.
Inside the egg was a huge pizza loving panda. So the panda helped with the digging and they all got pizza
they let it hatch a baby dragon stretched out & burned they’re pizza
in the bottem of the egg was $1000,0000000 ………………….so
they bought a pizza that was 20 feet tall
