It's Raining Popcorn!
“Popcorn!” baby Jaylen had shouted as she woke up on Wednesday morning.
And would you believe it? It did, in fact, rain popcorn for 5 minutes on Wednesday afternoon. As the kernels rained down, it seemed like everyone in the town was outside, trying to collect as much of the popcorn as possible.
This was the third day in a row that something like this happened. It was all quite unbelievable. Each morning, Jaylen woke in her crib and shouted a word.
“Pretzels!” the baby had shouted on Monday, and to everyone’s shock, it rained pretzels for 5 minutes on Monday afternoon.
“Chips!” she exclaimed on Tuesday, and chips fell from the sky on Tuesday afternoon.
After the third day, it seemed like every news outlet in the world was covering the story of baby Jaylen and the raining snacks.
But things took a dramatic turn on Thursday morning. Jaylen’s parents and sister stood around her crib as she tossed, turned, yawned, and then open her eyes.

Broccoli! Most people didn’t try to catch the broccoli because they thought it was gross.But one girl who loved broccoli stood outside and caught all the broccoli in her mouth and shouted YUM!!! Everyone laughed and some gagged but in the end that girl grew strong and turned into a superhero
Cats and dogs ! And that’s how people had cats and dogs for pets ! And the best part they were free!
Sure enuff the next day it rained acid, acid that only melted books. The day after Jaylen made it rain, rain. And her asking for normal rain broke the spell. The day after the rain, rain. It didn’t rain. The clouds worked on their own ace dual again, and Rosie was a hero! “ I couldn’t have done it without little Jaylen!” said Rosie on the news “ we’re both heros!”

They blamed it all on baby Jaylen. Which the Jaylen’s family thought completely unfair, they hadn’t been complaining when they’d gotten free snacks, had they? Jaylen’s sister, Rosie, slumped down, her voice horse from all the yelling, when she got an idea. “Jay Jay” she said, using her sisters nickname, and despretly hoping that she was understanding her. “ what if tomorrow you make it rain acid, but acid that’s not poisonous to humans, or animals, just to books. Is that possible? We can ask everyone to stay inside, just in case, and then all the books with melt. Then the next day you make it rain rain. Then things can go back to normal, what do you say?” Rosie gave her sister a hopeful look, waiting for some kind of response. “ Yaga!” Said baby jaylen, which might sound like baby talk to you and me, but jaylen was trying to say, ‘sure, I’ll give it a try’. Now, just like us, Rosie was also not fluent in baby talk, but she took she sisters babbling to mean yes.
“Books!” And sure ennuf that afternoon it rained books. Paper backs, hardcovers, short stories, classics, book packets waiting to be printed, and any other kind you could possibly imagine. Some were old, and weathered, some shiny and new. Now today no one rushed outside to grab the books right away, they had to wait until the five minutes had passed, so as not to be hit in the head by all of the books raining down heavily. When the folks did step outside they found that so many books had come down that they couldn’t even walk. Some people could scarcely open their doors. Jaylen’s family felt absolutely horrible doing it, but they had to climb up the books, accidentally ripping their pages and stamping mud on their covers as they went. Once they got to the top they called to their neighbours, who were atampting to clear the books out of the way. Jaylen’s family called to them, and called, and called. Hollering at the top of their lungs, but the family was furious with their neighbors.
“Lemonade!”
And, would you believe it, on Thursday afternoon, it rained lemonade. Everyone in the neighbourhood loved lemonade so they came out to get it. They tried to get it with their hands but it didn’t work. So they went inside to get buckets. And everyone collected so much lemonade that in two minutes all of it was gone.

Goldfish!!!Jaylen was way to exited he was talking to his sister and was exited to see what’s next.He said this might continue till a year.But then his sister was like wait then we can’t eat our own food!Everybody are going to be tired of food falling from the sky?But if they do they will do a Revolution.Aaaaahhh!!!Then jaylen says to his sister don’t worry enjoy it while it last.So then they enjoyed it and every time it would be different type of snacks like:Chips,Cheetos,Kernels,Pretzels it even rained ice cream when it was winter.Then one day jaylen saw that that when he opened his eyes he saw his sister crying because there was no snacks today so then he said it’s done.No more raining snacks.But one thing for sure jaylen said it’s raining birdies whoo.Actually raining popcorn!Everybody strated laugh!!! The end
“Pancakes!” Then it rained pancakes. This continued for about a week and then suddenly when baby Jayden woke up she cried “rain” and it started raining and everybody in the town groaned and complained. Then suddenly they heard a thunderous voice “Ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls, My name is Rain and for 2 weeks I have showered you all with whatever food you have wished for, but When I shower you all with water you all complain and groan. I wish you would all thank me for the crops I help you all grow and so from now on I will not shower this town with rain and I will see how you will all live without me. I will come back in a week and see how you are all doing. Once I hear cries of “oh no, my crops have died” and “we don’t have any water to drink” I will wait till you all beg me to come back. Goodbye.” ONE WEEK LATER: “Nooooooooo! What Rain said is true! Oh please great rain come back I beg of you and for a month straight it rained and rained and everybody was happy.

PIE!!!!! It lasted 5 minutes and then Monday it was COOKIES!!!! And on Tuesday it rained gummy bears and on Wednesday and on Thursday she got tired of it and stopped
ahhh not apples but then it rained fried rice and then burgers then steaks and then hot dogs. they did not have to buy any food for a century 🍔🌭🥩🍚
PIZZA!!! it lasted for 5 minutes, and then on friday, it rained… MACDOLDS!!! it rained fries, big macs, and poutine. But the next day it stopped.
“AHHH!” Said Jaylen. “Don’t worry sweetie it’s only us!” Said the mom! It was raining chicken nuggets at Thursday afternoon! “Yummy!” Said Jaylen! “I love chicken nuggets!” Everyone was outside playing at the afternoon when it was raining chicken nuggets. Jaylen was happy every afternoons! Jaylen drank some milk. It was bed time.Jaylen slept dreaming about what will rain next tomorrow at Friday afternoon! At Friday afternoon it was raining chocolates at the afternoon! Jaylen went outside fast! And she ate again like always! When she was done eating that chocolate she always had to brush to her teeth and most importantly she as to wash her hands! And I think that willl be the end :D
“Rain-!” “Oh come on!” Jaylen’s sister yelled. “That’s not a food!” “Let her finish,” Jaylen’s father said, “There might be more.” “-bow cupcakes” Jaylen finished. So they waited, and when the cupcakes fell they each had a note. “Citizens, You have been getting mad at the rain lately, not taking it as that gift it is. Have you ever been without me? Have you ever been in a drought? The answer is no. You haven’t ever been in a place where rain is scarce, never. I have always graced you with my presence, sending down the rain in silver drops. But you thank me by singing a song telling me to leave. ‘Rain Rain go away’ you say. So, unless you start being thankful,I will leave and you will see how valuable I am. Sincerely, Rain P.S. If you liked me when I rained food, why don’t you like me raining water? You can go weeks without food, but only days without water. So the next morning when Jaylen yelled “Rain!” No one complained, or groaned.They were simply thankful.

then things changed grocery stors were all banned until one day………
someone wished for a cups of candys then….
it didnt work she tried to yell it dint work that was then day they all starved
then people started to get there jobs back and everything went back to normal

nothing. Jaylen didn’t yell anything. Her parents and sister waited for a good hour but nothing else happened. Still everyone went outside in the afternoon but nothing happened. A week passed with nothing happening but then one morning Jaylens sister got up and went to check on Jaylen… but nothing was there. Then a voice that sounded just like Jaylen shouted “waffles”. She looked all around the bedroom but found nothing but… Jaylens favourite stuffie! That was it! The day her parents had gotten her that stuffie the owner of the store had warned them to be careful with it. Bu that still didn’t explain where Jaylen was. So she raced to her parents bedroom and found Jaylen crawling around on the floor. That afternoon it rained waffles for 5 minutes. The next day the sister took the doll and cut it in half. It didn’t call anything. She waited a month but it still didn’t call anything and it never called anything else since. ~The end
