Countdown to summer

With the launch of the TD Summer Reading Club coming up, we want to share a few key resources and pieces of information to help you effectively promote and prepare for the Club.

Promotional video

Our promotional video (mp4) is ready to go! The video highlights the key features of the Club. You can share the video on your library’s social media platforms, embed it on your library’s website, or send it via email to your school and community contacts. A French video (mp4) is also available.

We have also created versions specifically for sharing on Instagram.

Plan for accessibility

The pre-reader and school-age notebooks are available in audio, braille, e-text and OpenDyslexic font.

Families can visit the Accessibility page of the TD Summer Reading Club website to find electronic versions of the notebook in e-text, audio and braille.

Staff can learn more about planning for accessibility by visiting our staff website. 

Top recommended reads brochure—Digital version

We’ve created a digital version of our bilingual top recommended reads brochure. This brochure can be shared with your school and community contacts.

Using images from our staff website

As always, staff can use this year’s images to promote the Club. A small number of users have reported that files are not downloading in JPEG format. Our web team is looking for a solution. In the meantime, you should be able to download the files in JPEG format by deleting the part of the file url highlighted in blue below:

Social media

Follow us on social media to keep up to date with our latest news and events. You can also share your library posts with us for amplification. The official social media usernames for the Club are @TDSRC_CLETD for Twitter and Instagram and @TDSRC.CLETD for Facebook. The official hashtag is #TDSRC.
