With the launch of the TD Summer Reading Club coming up, we want to share a few key resources and pieces of information to help you effectively promote and prepare for the Club.
Promotional video
Our promotional video is ready to go! The video highlights the key features of the Club. You can share the video on your library’s social media platforms, embed it on your library’s website, or send it via email to your school and community contacts. A French video is also available.
We have also created versions specifically for sharing on Instagram.
Online Workshops
We’ve partnered with Bibliovideo to offer a series of TDSRC online workshops this summer. You can download the promotional flyer for the workshops in English and French. The videos will be embedded on our kids’ website—which launches on June 15—for kids to enjoy all summer long.
Virtual Presentations
We have downloadable resources that you can use in virtual presentations leading up to or during the summer. Our Join the Club! presentation highlights the important elements of the 2021 program. You can add content to that presentation to fit your local program, or create your own presentation using our branded PowerPoint template.
You may also want to consider using the TDSRC Silly Story to help you promote the Club in a fun way that works well for virtual visits. To use the Silly Story, prompt kids for a list of words and add them to the story while sharing your screen with participants.
Top recommended reads brochure—Digital version
We’ve created a digital version of our bilingual top recommended reads brochure. This brochure can be shared with your school and community contacts.
Webinars
We’ve recorded an English webinar and a French webinar to help you navigate information related to the Club this year. The webinars include a full overview of all the resources available on the staff website.
Social media
Follow us on social media to keep up to date with our latest news and events. You can also share your library posts with us for amplification. The official social media usernames for the Club are @TDSRC_CLETD for Twitter and Instagram and @TDSRC.CLETD for Facebook. The official hashtag is #TDSRC.
