TD SRC and COVID-19: Update #8

Many school boards across Canada have moved to remote learning so it may not be possible for library staff to visit schools to promote this year’s TD Summer Reading Club (TD SRC). However, it’s still important to promote the TD SRC and to connect kids and their families with our online Club.

You can promote the TD SRC by reaching out to contacts in your schools, such as principals, teachers, teacher-librarians and secretaries.

We’re excited to share our 2020 TD Summer Reading Club teaser video! You can send along to your school contacts. The video highlights the key features of the Club.

We’ve also created some sample messages that you can download, modify and email to your school contacts. 

• The information letter explains the various features of the 2020 TD SRC website.
  
  
•  The short blurb can be included in school newsletters or in emails to children and their families.

In addition to contacting local schools, you can also share these files with other community groups that you think may benefit from this information.
